Moving my grow indoors. Tent Build

Do I really need to exhaust my tent? Why are most kits sold with just one inline fan and nothing else?

right now I have a:
GG 4x4
Scorpion Diablo
2 OscillatingFans
6 inch cloud line with carbon filter

Probably going to buy:

humidifier/ dehumidifier
Oil filled heater.

thank you for your help!

Depends, what is growing?
Temperature, smell, required air exchange and moisture control are the reasons to exhaust tent air.
The carbon filter requires an air movement source, exhaust (6" maybe T6, bigger is T8 and smaller T4).
Many growers use the EXHAUST to source air for the filtering and some use an intake and exhaust foe continuous air movement and not too much tent side collapse…
Good growing to you.

what Controller (automation and monitoring) are you getting?
Remote control for lights?

69 PRO.

Growing indoors is expensive as F*ck.

Choices, choose wisely.
Children on 2 legs (hopefully) or children (in dirt in the grow tent), nothing comes cheap.
I chose growing. yep takes all my spare cash.

starting my grow. 6 plants in a 4x4. is 3 gallon pots too small for photos?

Only you can answer that, as itdepends upon how you grow your plants.
I will do the same, next month.
At the Magic Kingdom, for now.
Good growing to you.
3-5 gals are easier to tent and move around, IMO

Thoughts on Pot size? Are 3 Gal Pots big enough for Photos. Growing 4 GSC and 2 Dos Si Dos in my 4x4.

If growing 6 plants in 4x4 3 gallon pots for each is plenty big enough.

thank you! how big should I let them get before the flip to flower?
also is this cal mag or?

and Yes I know it looks dry.

using Promix HPCC, Worm castings.
uber Nutrients UNI ONE
PH 6.45
Feeding PPM 400
Tap ethan sits for 24 hours abd a little hydrogen peroxide to help knock out the chlorine.
light at 70%
36 inches light hieght
scorpion diablo v2

again thank you for your support

or is it nitrogen?

I’m not sure you could narrow that down to either. I think 400ppm is a little low to be feeding in that promix. I also believe that promix behaves better ph’d around 5.8-6.0, and agree your pots look extremely dry.

Thanks for the advice! I will drop the PH and increase the PMM to 900 PPM?

feeding chart has a few different recommendations. I went with the light novice first. But I might just go for the standard or heavy moving forward.

Also do you have any experience with Fishshit Soil conditioner? should I bother using something like this in my soilless media?

meant to link the chart… mb.

900ppm sounds like a good starting point. I have not used fish!t, but i use a very similar product called tribus. If you use at recommended dose like once per week should help for sure.

Just fed each plant 920 PPMs at 5.90 PH. last feedings have been 6.45 so trying to knock it down with the next couple feedings to the 6.0 range. added 5 ML/ Gal of Cal mag.
Hopefully they bounce back!
room temp is 70F
RH is 52%
1.12 VPD.

What should my VPD be?

Sounds good so far. For early veg i think a vpd around .6-.7 works pretty well. Then rising as you get laterinto veg and transitioning into flower.

There are charts available for download online if you’d like.

i’ll give it a whirl.
Any thoughts on a heater? my basement is pretty chilly, especially in the winter.
looking for recommendations

I deal with same, but my wife would kill me if I ran a heater.

Yeah luckily I pay the electric so she doesn’t see the bill.:rofl:. But my plants seem to have began to bounce back.
Fed another 900ppm at 5.8PH today.

crazy how fast they grow. Only 3 days from my last post. basically doubled in size.
