Tent temp got over 90F (10 + degrees more than average lights on temp) about 48-72 hrs ago. I’ve been playing around with opening/closing doors/windows/hvac vents to help better regulate the room, and apparently didn’t have window open enough with door for room closed. There were no immediate signs of stress, then 24hrs later, bottom leaves on a few were curled up slightly. Soil was dry and was definitely time to water. Is this damage likely due to higher than normal temps, plants begging for water, a combo of both, or something worse? Root rot seemed to keep popping up during google search, but i’ve really skimped on watering until the morning i noticed curling. I soaked, waited, then soaked again until water drained into saucers.
Is this just some random mutation or stress from something i caused? The 3rd finger on 1 set of the leaves is pushing into the middle like theyre trying to grow together.
They look like they were thirsty! No harm on the temp hitting 90 for a day or so. Most importantly was the air inside circulating, moving and exhausting
TY for the response, and good to know about the temp. I have a 6" clip on fan and 16" oscillating fan on low 24/7. If home, i manually play around with the exhaust fan to get humidity up a little. I dont like the auto setting on the ac infinity controller at all, so set “on” at lowest (1) when im not home or during overnight hrs. Thinking it may just be best to set on 1 and leave it alone
Sounds good! I’m old school and manually adjust all my equipment….so far so good
Run it in manual, thats what i do when using “t” series fans. Just set fan to try and keep around 80f at warmest part of day. Temp isn’t that critical when lights go out as long as it’s not cold.
Thank you and roger that! Setting 1 seems to do the trick as of now. Lowest i’ve seen temp get at night was 65. Not gonna lie, i got a little panicky, set up space heater in room, and got temp back up to 67-69. Is that little variant in temp really gonna make a big difference?
Happy birthday @OGIncognito !
Much appreciated Kellydans
Happy birthday! @OGIncognito
Nothing wrong with 65 while lights out.
