3 or 4 months old plants are only 6 to 10 inches tall but started blooming last week. We think the seeds were damaged in storage. The plants have been in and out of the grow tent, inside next to a window and outside in the sun for several weeks when temp is above 60. I am fascinated by the blooming which matches my spouses normal size plants. Will these miniature plants produce something? Thanks
Nit more than a couple blunts tops. They bloom when they get 12 solid hours of darkness
Probably not going to be much. If these are Autos, then you won’t get a good yield since they have flowered. This is why I hate Autos.
BTW…putting a plant in a window will not do the trick. The glass blocks out UVA and UVB rays. Yes, I learned about the blocking because of my freaking evil marmoset monkeys.
It will still grow weed but that is all it will ever be.

These are Whitewidow autos. How do other houseplants grow with sunlight through windows? I dont expect them to get much bigger, I guess I’m just curious about the strength. Thanks!
Cannabis has a high light requirement. Other plants not so much. That is why some plants other than MJ do ok in windows

I started three plants on the last grow. However I already had a northern lights in the tent that went wild and took over the area and took 5 months to finish. So my three autos stayed under a temporary light i have for the first 4 weeks or so. Its only about 12 inches above the seedlings and used more for herbs. After I moved them down to the tent floor they grew but not much. All three plants never got over 10" tall. I have determined that intense lighting at an early age will permanently change the growth pattern of an auto flower plant. They never developed secondary branches either. From then on I grow my autos in their permanent place under the lights at the proper distance. Lesson, Since autos are on a timeclock it seems best to avoid changes to environment as much as possible.

These stunted plants were going to be discarded to make room for a new crop. I kept them just for the fun of it. That’s why they were in and out of the grow tent whenever there was room for them. They kept growing by the window but of course did much better out in direct sunlight. They are just so cute. I guess it will be weeks before they are mature. I’ll just look for the normal color changes. Being in quarantine has its advantages, as they are on my deck.

On the plus side they are covered with frost. SO I wont get much, but what I get will be great.
So dont throw yours out. Just let them grow.

Had two baby Gorilla Bomb plants flipped to flower 1wk after transplant from solo cup to 1gallon fab bag.
Got maybe a quarter at most dry weight.
