Mistakes = learning opportunities.

I screwed up when I added silica and failed to adjust pH. I saw a problem with the young plant yesterday. I had added 5ml silica in a gallon jug and it screwed up my pH. The pH of the silica solution the plant was fed is 9.5. I attempted to correct it this morning by watering (with silica) that was pH adjusted to 5.00. Yes, it is very low, but the pH I added before was very high. There will probably be continuous problem with her now until I transplant her back into a soil with proper pH. I expect this will force me to transplant more soon.

Most of these current leaves will be cut off during defoliation as the plant matures.
