Doing well. It’s been 30 days since the last transplant so I finally checked pH (6.8) and PPM (1,600) today.
She’s been topped twice. I’m thinking about giving her a few more weeks of veg so I can top her once more. I really like blue mystic, so I want a bigger harvest.

Topped her for a third time today. I’ll flip her in a week or 2 after she grows out a bit. Also gave her a decent haircut, trimming quite a bit off the lower areas of the plant.
PPM was at 1600 a couple of days ago when she was watered, so no feeding for a couple more waterings. She has lasted 6 weeks in veg so far without nutes. She is in Happy Frog, so I’m a little surprised.

Flipping to flower in a week or so. She will be 10 weeks into veg when she is flipped. The mains have been topped 3 times. Two secondary branches have been topped too. The bottom half of the plant has also been defoliated.
Time to pour on the light. There is 1 1/2 HLG 260s (effectively three 135 panels) 2 feet above her to reach this PPFD.

Time for a haircut. Everything that wouldn’t grow to reach the canopy came off. Essentially a lollipopping. I only flipped her 14 days ago, so there are a couple of haircuts left since she is still in the stretch.
She’s drooping a little in the pic. She was just watered, so she’ll droop for a few more hours.

I don’t, now. I used to go shoot the 1,650 range at Rockcastle Shooting Center, but new owners bought the business last year and they shut the ranges down. Now the closest mile range to me is 5 hours away at Thunder Ranch in Ohio.
I’ve had the 338 out to a mile. I got 3 hits at a mile in 2018. The furthest I’ve shot the 6.5 out to 1,100 yards. I gave it a shot at a mile, but the bullet isn’t big enough to leave a splash on steel at that distance. You just can’t see the hits at that distance.
Rockcastle had steel at 650, 750, 850, 980, 1,100, and 1,650 yards on their Thunder Valley range. It was a blast to go down there a few times a year.
