That is awesome news, @fiz. Congratulate him for us.
The love of family and friends cannot be over stated.

Considering that I really thought that she was dying yesterday morning, I would say it turned out swimmingly.
I donāt know about everyone else, but Iām jonesing for some plant pics! Once you get your feet fully back under you of course.
Yeah, that must have been so scary for you both!
Thatās wonderful news indeed!!!
I sense some sarcasm?
It certainly would be if applied to myself, given that I donāt like to cook and I donāt have a dog, or any animal companions. (Husbands donāt count, amazingly )
Yeah, me too!
I noticed that Merlin didnāt post on Tuesday, concerning these days.
Though, @merlin44 we understand that caretaking doesnāt often happen on a strict schedule. Weāre always here for/with you.
I have been very slack this grow. I will post a picture update tomorrow morning.
Lol, I felt bad for asking so I deleted my request. I felt I was sounding greedy for the ask.
Then I see your reply so I went back & un-deleted it! At your convenience that would be great! (for the community ya know)
Not at all @CC_Mo. LOL I was more or less expecting it. LOL
It is very kind of you to care enough to reach out. Thank you. It is too easy to withdraw and be very self-absorbed when life challenges us.
To me you sounded like a great friend that wanted to provide a few moments of distraction to a friend that needed it.
Yeah, thatās it! Mostly⦠joking. Seriously thatās a positive way to look at it kap.
As @merlin44 said, itās easy to get introverted at times in life. Iāve been guilty of that several times in myself & it was never productive even though it felt like the thing to do at the time.
This is a great group of folks. Plenty of shoulders to lean on when needed.
And thatās a good thing.
What Kap said!
Thatās also how I took your ask @CC_Mo .
@CC_Mo @Twelve1 @kaptain3d as promised, here is an adhoc update to make up for slacking off on Tuesday.
The grow is 118 days old and 65 days from flipping.
The group shot gives us a hint of what is to come.
These two CP-1 shots, taken 10 days apart, tell the story.
Ten days ago:
Here it is this morning:
Mostly a crispy critter.
I think that had I been properly caring for this grow, I could have saved this plant by taking action several weeks ago. At this point I donāt know what caused this. I am not overly concerned about it because I will get two to four lbs from the other plants which is much more than I can hope to use.
This plant started out to be the biggest, prettiest and most robust of the group. I hope and think that is an anomaly so I donāt plan any changes unless this occurs again.
Here is a nice cola from GL-2 (one of the sickly seedlings):
Thank you all for your support and for dropping by.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the super bowl if that is in your plans. We will decide what Mrs Merlin wants to watch when the time comes.
P.S. One hour ago everything was clear outside. Now we have two inches of snow and it is coming down hard. We may need to postpone our trip to see my Mom today. The valley floor is clear but getting off of the mountain would involve chaining up. Ugh.
Fantastic work Sir Magic Man! Bravo!!!
you definitely have the grow touch Merlin⦠very nice topsā¦
Nice work. Another neat and tidy organised grow. Sometimes I miss working hard and efficiently. Most times not . Well done.
Be safe out there if you decide to go.
That sucks about the CP-1 @merlin44. Is anything even remotely salvageable? Even for being processed into butter or something?
Oh, yes. There would be plenty to extract for edibles or something. I donāt make edibles or anything like that. I am satisfied with using my vape.
I am not certain how many plants I have grown. I could figure it out by looking at all of my local grow logs. Somewhere around 15 or more grows with around 5 plants per grow. This is the first time that I have had anything like this happen (except when I did an experiment and killed two plants).
I have so much dope that it is a blessing to have this one fail.
I just shut the grow room down every now and again but then I miss growing so start again even when I have a stash that will last for years.
Edit: I didnāt count the plants but I just checkedā¦15 grows to date.
I just came in from shoveling a path to the truck. It is only a few inches deep, but I donāt want Mrs Merlin to slip and fall.
Geez, when I came back into the house it smelt as though someone has been growing marijuana. It about knocked back out the door.
I suppose that I should put the carbon filter back in place.
We will be very careful. The truck has traction tires, and we have chains for front and rear.
It would irk me to chain up (45 minutes), drive 3/4 mile, chain down (30 minutes). All for a 3 hour round trip (driving time). Hopefully, if it isnāt melted by 9:30 is will be melting. A little delay may solve everything.
I had intended to pick up the soil so that I could transplant the NL tomorrow. The soil may wait until next week.
I am trying to incorporate the soil purchase with a trip to my Momās place.
Looks like fall time in the garden. Those girls look heavy!
Chains. Yuk. They work, but can be a hassle to deal with. We have ice/snow coming here next week. Iām ready for spring alreadyā¦
Thanks for the update @merlin44 !
