@SmoknGranny, how you doing my dear? Lets see if I can get ILGM to spank me again from posting to you too much Rawr …oh and just an FYI Here is the definition of RAWR
Exclamation; Contrary to popular belief, "rawr"does not mean I love you in dinosaur. It loosely translates to “I am going to bite your torso off and consume it for sustenance.”
WRONG:
Dinosaur: Rawr!
Stupid person: I LOVE YOU TOO! Stupid person gets eaten
RIGHT:
Dinosaur: Rawr!
Smart person: OH SHIT! I’m going to run away now! Smart person also gets eaten. You can’t outrun a dinosaur. But at least he tried #om nom#roar#raa#rahh#yum!
LOL thanks for the big smile you just put on my face. I’m doing pretty good today mostly just tired. Thanks so much for asking! I’ll post some things probably tomorrow when I can put together my thoughts better
rawr
Thanks so very much. That song was so perfect and said it all. I wish we were friends on Facebook so you could see her pictures. I think she and you would have been good friends
LOL
I need to figure out some kinda thing to put some lights up under my plants pointing upward so those lower buds can get more light. I have searched online and haven’t found anything. GRRRRRRR
The floor is made of mylar but I don’t think, at the height the tops of the plants are from the floor, plus the shading, that there is very much reflectivity bouncing up
Humm…ok what about T5 lights running vertically along the walls at a lower level? this is something I have considered for when my plants start getting taller and bushier…assuming that is going to happen of course lol
I thought about that but I only have 1 2ft T5 fixture so I would have to buy more. I have a bunch of LED flood lights in the red spectrum and thought I could sit them on the floor pointing upward but cant figure out how to mount them so that I can still move my plants around, I move them counterclockwise on the floor every day plus I turn them 1/4 turn orientation every 2-3 hours. Probably the T-5s are the best bet but how to get them in the center part of the tent. running out of room to mount stuff to the cross bars
This is wear I would be challenging hubs to figure things out what about mounting the T5s to a 4x4 piece of wood that you put in the center? Don’t know how you would keep it stable though, unless you have some sort of way to make a base for the wood to sit on that keeps it upright…sort of like a coat stand thing…hope that makes sense…
Yeah, that makes sense. I was thinking what I need is to hit the thrift stores next week when they open back up next week ( they open and close based on college student;s schedules) and get several of those really short desk goose neck lamps where I could bend the part holding the bulb straight up or at some kinda odd angle.
Thanks for the imput Nug! I am with Nug-bug @FreakyDeekie. Just do what you can. sounds like an awful lot of trouble for not much reward. But maybe you could ask in the lighting threads too…
