Meet my teen girls

Had to transplant these two because I had a mold problem in the jiffy pots they were started in on 12/2 and 12/4. Looking good now… at 17 and 19 days,

What strains are they bruv?

White Widow Auto Fem…

@Capt_Seeweed
Dam dude u may have some issues with them since u transplanted them…Autos don’t like to be translated since they grow and flower so quick u want to avoid ANY stressful situations, i.e. transplanting…

Next time u should start ANY auto u grow in a 5gal pot or bigger so they can grow seed to harvest in the same pot!

Good Luck Mate
Cheers  :smoking:

I agree…haven’t grown a plant in 25 years so I have a bit to learn. I have been reading and learning here on ILGM…that alone will give me insight to the next grow.

Yea mate, read and then read some more…then when you’re done, read it again! BEST way to get the knowledge up! I definitely love this site, but u can get some really far out responses sometimes lol.

Looking good!

I won’t use those Jiffy’s again. They stay way to wet. I tried them this time too.

yeah, those look good. :+1:

They did okay, I’ll just probably go straight to soil after a 24-hour soak next time.

I agree…no messing around the next time for me either! :relaxed:

All I have been giving them is good old cape cod water…planted in FFOF.

I’ve been using distilled so far. I have 1 gallon left then switching to tap :grimacing:

Tap here on the cape is 7.2 ph and my soil measures 6.5…not bad at all

I’m more worried about TDS. It’s 164 here from the tap compared to 11 TDS in my distilled. At least PH is an easy adjustment.

Ok new term…explain tds…in simple terms

Total Dissolved Solids - It’s the “crap” in your water. As well as some beneficial stuff I suppose. You can probably look up your towns water report online and see the stuff in it. Some is naturally occurring, some is from soil runoff, leaking septics, fertilizer use, added by the town for certain water quality improvements, etc, etc

It can be handy to know your TDS…

If you know the TDS of what you’re putting in, and you know the TDS of your soil runoff it can help determine over or under feeding (when you start feeding nutes). Anything left over wasn’t consumed and has built up in the soil. You know you can probably use less.

Also helpful when flushing. You can flush until the runoff TDS is equal to the flush water (or under something around 100ppm if your tap water is less), then you know you’ve cleared everything out.

It looks just like a PH meter.

Yes , Autos aren’t very happy with being transplanted, so let me tell you a story, I’m a guerilla grower.
On the way to bringing my Autos to their final outdoor spot ( I started them inside for 2 weeks) I crashed my mountain bike on the trail, My plants (autos) 2 of them went flying everywhere, I landed next to them, my bike light broke off and I couldn’t see anything, I gathered up what I could, put them back in their pots with what little soil was left. I re-planted them at night under the moon light. Ended up digging the two of them back up , re-soiled them and planted them. Long story short, they Both grew very well after being beat up and re-planted Twice, and by the way , I won the Bud of the Month for last October with the Blueberry Auto.
