Hey y’all,
Is it common to have a male seed (only one found) from a female plant? I am 75% through last year’s (Photoperiod) harvest and have found only one seed, which turned out to be male (pollen sacks) at 1.5 months above soil.
Regardless, given that the (other) “Ladies” are still young, should I simply compost the male?
Best regards,
DPC

All seeds come from female plants…so 50/50 shot on male female. The male just needs to be away from the females…you can always bag it if you have outdoor plants.

A random seed can happen from stress or stray pollen, and since it’s not feminized, a male is just a 50/50 outcome; if you want to keep your plants seed-free, it’s best to remove or compost it since even a small male can pollinate everything.
