Very tough to say as pic is too far from the node jct. But I think I might see a pair of pistals just about the middle of your baby. Do you have a scope to get in close and look? That would be a big help for you.

looks female.look for two white hairs coming out by the node
I would give it some more time. Be patient, but keep an eye on it.
