Hey so I have five LA confidentials growing right now in a 4x2 tent and they sprouted on November 20th. They’re currently in 3-gallon pots except for one which is in a 2-gallon pot. I’m using Fox farm ocean Forest as well as every single nutrient they have on their chart. So far they are going great although I did transplant them a little too early into a bigger pot so they got over watered a little bit and some suffered very slight issues and got over them. I am using a 315 watt ceramic metal halude (cmh) light with a 4200k bulb for veg and a 3100k bulb for flower. I have two 6-in fans blowing very lightly over the top of them but not directly at them. There is a 240 CFM inline duct fan blowing air out a window. I have a humidifier going and keep the humidity between 45 and 55 right now. I have a pH and a PPM tester for my water and runoff and everything is looking great. I was just using the first three Fox farm nutrients on the chart (grow big, big bud, and tiger bloom) and now I got the rest in the mail recently. (Kelp me kelp you, wholy mackerel, microbe brew, flowers kiss, sledgehammer, kangaroots, boomerang, and bembe.)
Today most of them had six nodes and were working on the 7th. I picked the two healthiest looking ones and proceeded to mainline them. (Which is to cut off everything except for the third node after you grow around 6) I topped the rest after their fourth node. Two of the healthiest ones that I had not mainlined I bent over and have started low stress training. I have more wire on the way as well as a SCROG net. Here are some pictures!! I’ll definitely tag along on this one. I’m on my 3rd and 4th grow simultaneously. 2 ilgm auto amnesia haze getting LST and both in flower then 3 bag seeds that have been topped and waiting for mainline.
Be careful with the LST something I just learned is not to bend anything or mess with anything right after you water. Seems like the branches become more brittle and I ended up snapping one and a half
Here’s a picture of some work I did on December 17th. I also have three more LA confidential clones that are starting to root and a bunch of different bag seeds I had lying around that I might just fill in any open spaces with or end up getting rid of if I don’t have room.
Sorry guys I forgot to Post an update this week. Everything is going great just been doing a hell of a lot of the stress training on all of them far And I am going to flip them to 12/12 in a week or two.
I harvested in Oct. and then Started inside Nov 1st . I have 3 that are crowding a 3x3 and are going to get 2 of them outside for 6-8 wks while the sunlight less than 12 This will be the first time to try that. Normal winter temps are 50-80
