Started with 3 seeds 2 popped up this morning. So is this a sign, 2 new girls born on Friday the 13th in 2020. Hmmm hope this is going to be a good one will post pics asap
I’m going to use this as a journal if it’s the right place. This is my first grow starting from seed.My two other hrows I’ve done were with well established clones, fingers crossed
Hooray the third popped so triplets on Friday the 13th 2020
Yep, you have listed as grow journal. I’m going to be dropping 5 LA Confidential beans on my next grow, so really interested in seeing how these do. Set to watch
Let us know more and show us the setup when you get a chance.
Seems to be a popular very middle of the road hybrid.
Will do for sure
Ok I’m using baby bu’s biodynamic potting soil I’ve used this my last 2 grows and I’m really happy with it . I made some air pots out of 5 and a half gallon kitty litter buckets, seemed like i drilled a thousand holes. My tent is a marshydro 39x39x70 using a marshydro ll 700 w light it’s only pulling 358 w from the wall .I have a Rolando cob to put in also during flowering.no nutes yet but usually roots organtic seems to work for me. I have central air and heat stays an even 70 degrees in my basement.don’t have a filter system legal grow and i like the way my house smells in late flower. I know im missing stuff so I’ll have to do inventory
How long are your plants considered seedlings
Depends on who you ask LOL I’ve seen people say that veg starts when plant gets a fully developed set of leaves. I think I’m going to tag a couple of experienced growers who may be able to at least give their opinions. What do you guys think, when do you consider seedlings to be starting veg. @Hellraiser @Nicky @Covertgrower
I agree with how you defined it. Full set of leaves for sure qualify.
I think it’s a bit of a toss up to be honest.
With photos the general stages are
- Germination (5-10 days)
- Seedling (2-3 weeks)
- Vegetative (3-16 weeks)
- Flowering (8-11 weeks)
When I count how long an auto veg’s for its as soon as it shows the second set of green leafs so it now has 4 sets of green pedals, that’s for me personally because autos have such a short veg period i find it the easiest way to compare things this way.
What does a full set of leafs look to you guys @Bulldognuts @Covertgrower?
Once they are serrated?
I don’t think it’s wrong to look at it from that perspective either. The challenge is when you get a slow plant.
Due to my lack of photos growing experience I don’t think I’ve ran into this issue because with an auto you either grow it and it grows well or it didn’t grow lol.
But I hear what you mean, this can happen and happens more often with new growers but anytime we make mistakes.
When they sprout. It’s all vegetative growth (just different stages) til they hit flowering. I also count the start of flowering as the first day after a 12 hour night cycle.
Was just wondering hpw long to keep the domes over them. I germinated them in there forever home so no transplanting involved lol
When you have 2 full set of leaves, it’s a indication that roots are starting to get established. Once roots get established you shouldn’t need the domes.
