LSD auto flower - first timer who’d love some advice

  • What strain: Just ordered LSD auto flower seeds and waiting to get them.

  • Method: Planning to use just generic potting soil from Menards. Anyone advise against that or recommend something different?

  • Vessels: Ordered 5gal fabric pots

  • PH of Water: What pH is recommended for this strain? Should I stick with 6.5-6.8? Also, do you need to balance pH in soil before you plant?

  • PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable: I WOULD LOVE if someone could share a feeding schedule they use. I made so many mistakes with my first grow for BK auto. PLEASE!

  • Indoor: Yes, grow tent 24 x 24 x 48.

  • Light system: LED 300W Grow light, 100PCS x 3W. This is currently what I’m using for my BK autos. Is this okay for LSD autos?

  • Temps: Room they will be in stays between 66-75F.

  • Humidity: Currently not planning to use a humidifier.

  • Ventilation system: My grow tent has a fan/filter/ducting/combo: 10"H x 7"D, 1.5 inches Carbon Layer, fan: 120V60HZ; 101Watt; 0.86A; 2850RPM; 189CFM; 4" Double layer duct φ4" * 25FT

Any recommendations for a successful start to finish would be so much appreciated. I plan to keep posting updates.

Try switching to coco coir overHere is my beginner organic guide. Coco coir is far more beginner friendly you WILL need a good ph pen ( at least apera). Otherwise get some hydrogen pyroxide itll up your germ rate by about 10%

Could you make some recommendations for instruments to measure ppms? I have a pH probe too, should I switch to a pen?

If it’s a soil metal probe yes get a pen those are garbage. And you can get a cheap ppm meter its safer to ballpark those numbers
