I don’t know if you can tell but the lower side of the branches on this side are really low almost touching the ground is there something wrong or just part of the process ?

What kind of affect will it have on the plant?

A good one, you want to have bottom of the plant open to air to prevent mold…

Yes sir I agree the only time I cut is dead leafs and branches in the soil . Trim as little as possible but get it out of the dirt it will help promote mold and disease.

Most everything needs air to grow.

You could always use stakes and tie/train them up…it’s looking good!

Thanks guys!

@Dromingo, I agree w/ @Ragnar… When the plant gets bigger, those branches are gonna be shaded… Unless your gonna do some serious LST or cropping… I think not will help give more energy to rest of plant… Good luck with you grow

Use twist ties and tie the sagging branches to a branch stronger and upright. I do this to all my low hanging branches. I call it the umbrella technique. Eventually the stems will strengthen and stay up on their own. Or just cut them off and make clones. Your choice.
