Low Ryder Auto Flipped to Flower?

Hey all. First time grow going right now. My Low Ryder Autos popped out of the dirt on April 11th. They are about 6” tall. This morning they flipped to flower. Did i do something wrong or is it normal for Autos to flower so fast? Also i am growing some non-auto Super Skunk and and OG kush. Those are still in veg. I am running 2 Mars Hydro Ts600 in a 3x3 tent 18/6 light cycle. Just did my first watering with nutes this morning as well. They seemed to like it because they looked great this evening. Tent is about 75-80degrees light on 65ish with lights off. Any info would help a lot.

Yeah - unfortunately some autos can be really early bloomers. I personally don’t grow autos for just that reason. You have absolutely no control over them. I think you’ll find the non-autos a much better experience.
You didn’t do anything wrong - you’re set up sounds fine and your light hours are right on. It’s just that plant.
She’ll continue to grow and might surprise you in the end. And there’s a chance she’s just throwing a few pre-flowers just signalling she’s ready for business, as it were.

Autos can be a shot in the dark. They usually flower at some point between 4 and 7 weeks, but there are anomalies on both sides of the average timeline. An auto flowering at 3 weeks is new to me. I’ve seen some go to the extreme opposite and not flower until the 13th week. We saw a grower with one of those just in this past couple of weeks.

I’ve had one and seen one Autoflower on this forum that would not flower until lights went to 12x12.
Running your light for your photos during veg at 18x6 is perfect for your autos.
You’ll get some early buds to smoke and enjoy while your Photos flower.

Autos are weird like that. I’ve never had to change my light schedule. 18/6 all the time. I’ve had 1 auto start flowering at 3 weeks and another auto veg over 8 weeks before flowering. My advice on auto is be patient and let them do what they are gonna do. Here’s the end result of the plant that started flowering at 3 weeks

So after i watered for the first time with nutes a couple days ago they seemed to enjoy it. The autos grew about 2-3” since. They are about 8” tall. The low ryder says it should stay under 16” so probably on track to be about the right size.

Id be more that happy with something similar with mine flowering at 3 weeks lol

Here they are now. A little over 3 weeks into flower. They seem to be doin pretty now. Still my first grow so learning as i go lol
