Looking for training ideas /Pics included

I use both, it is a fair amount of work but it is worth it.

Which do you do 1st?

Growing Durban Poison photos, indoors, 5x5x6.8 tent, HLG 650R, temp range 72-80°F, organic no till, 5 plants, 7 gallon pots, companion plants - chives, garlic, white clover, marigold, bluebonnet, lavender & chamomile. In my 2nd week, 3rd nodes coming in now.

Lets see a picture. Durban Poison is Sativa dom. So she may get lanky on you. If its a photo, no rush to top. Maybe around node 5. Then as the 2 come back, you can begin training them outwards

my companions are just sprouting…the site will only let me load upto 80mp so let me know if I need a better shot.

One more node and u can get started. The look healthy

Do you top to get all those top bud sites? I love the tech of letting it grow vertical . Do you do any spreading during veg? Or just let them grow up

@Highest1 All natural more like ā€œoh F I grew a jungleā€ then deal,

Most of the bud sites are from fim’ ing along the veg stage. Then I just selected the bigger ones while defoliating and try my best to base final selection on quality/ quantity.

Should really start tracking that over quality as well that way you can have data that is easily replicated or improved upon

Cool ! What height do you usually flip at ? I want the tallest plants i can grow in my 3x3x6 . So if i flip at maybe 18-20 inches ill end up with a 3-4ft plant ? Love ya training ideas

Right around 30-34 I like a tall plant

Depends on genetics and type, sativas are crazy tall and can tend to stretch way further than expected.

While indicas while most likely fall into the expected range you posted. It takes a bit of trial and error, every setup can produce variances in end result.

That’s absolutely remarkable work! Artistically, Architecturally, Horticulturally! That took some serious fore-thought…I wish my brain could still do that… No wait a minute… My brain could NEVER do that lol…pre or post :green_heart:

LOL, sure you can! when they get really big, I lay down on the floor of the tent and look up to trim and keep air movement maximized.
