Where is the light?

IMO you should wait a little long to put her any further in th soil. Let her grow a little.

no light, as these were just germinating… the weren’t visible last night.

Bingo!!!
That’s your problem, no light no plant

@Fever as far as i have read, they dont need a light yet. The question wasn;t about my plant needing light. I was just asking if the root was too exposed. now they are still under the germination dome

It didn’t look like the root it looked like a stem that flopped over because it didn’t have light. Did you plant it that way or did it grow that way? If it’s a light problem.

@VelcroThumb yes it needs to be placed farther in, ASAP. You don’t want the tap root to dry out. It doesn’t need much light in the beginning you’re right. But some helps. Even a window sill.

yea these are all roots/stems. The shells havent event dropped yet. @Covertgrower once they sit out in indirect sunlight and then need more, do i need a t5 grow light or can I use my 600w HPS light on the lowest output?

I’m uncertain about the hps dimmed, I have no experience with that, but I do know the T-5’s are safe. @VelcroThumb

@VelcroThumb

I would get them under a light- a T5 is probably best if you have one. I would let it grow a bit first and it should be fine.

When you go to transplant then you can bury the root further.
