Living soil need to know what to feed worms

Currently attempting a living soil grow(first grow) and was curious what do I feed my worms in the soil? I have been top dressing with craft blend about every two weeks for their food and a lot of organic material at the top as mulch but are there fruit peels safe to cannabis like bananas?

If you ferment and compost banana peels before use the potassium they contain it will be biologically available.

Would it hurt the plant if I burned some banana peels in while it’s growing? Ones a seedling and the other is going sprout any day soon. I made sure to put the peels on the outside of the pot.

This can cause ph issues while composting in the container you’re growing in.
Not recommended. But you can try it.

I’ll just stick with recommendations being new

Grains, fruits, vegetables, and beans and plant matter. Anaything decaying. I’ll leave a few trimmed leaves on the surface and once they start wilting, I’ll bury them only about 1/2 - 1 inch. I treat them to mashed bananas or any other fruits I may have. I think the sugar also help feed the mycos in the soil.

How big of a pot are you using? I almost left banana peel but read fungus gnats can come because of it. I’m just curious how if the only way in is the zipper portion.

My containers are around 45-50 gallons. There are plenty of holes in the bottom and the containers sit directly on the soil in a raised bed garden. I feed the worms in the raised beds but the migrate into the containers
