Thanks Al! Yeah the Bluster that is still growing is smelling skunky piney awesome.
I wish I could smell and taste better but the two of those have been screwed up since childhood. To me the Peach Maraschino has kind of that warm gsc flavor with a strong cherry overtone. You know you’re gonna be stoned when you first hit it and 15 min later your red eyes and cottonmouth will confirm it. If you don’t have a drink handy you could easily end up with your tongue stuck to the roof of your mouth. If you have sinuses like mine that means you may asphyxiate yourself. :joy::rofl:
How’s your plants doing? Last I saw they looked amazing. :sunglasses::metal:t2:

Doing fine @Growmoredank. Thanks for asking. I’ve just been tending the last two plants. I had the pH tank on one of them down to 4.8 :grimacing::face_with_peeking_eye: and spent the day flushing back to 6.5. I bet I put 12 gallons thru a 2 gallon pot. My own fault of course. :joy:
I failed to mix any lime in the soil before planting. I added some today but I think it’s the slow release kind so it wasn’t any help today but should help stabilize it thru the next month untill harvest. How’s things your way bro?

Last night I finally weighed the early Bluster harvest and got 10oz. 4oz I’m keeping, 3oz to my cuz and the other 3oz of popcorn will get gifted. I’m super pleased and can’t wait to harvest the rest in a couple weeks.:+1:t2:

Hell ya! Nice job!

Thanks @4204life! I’m guessing there’s still 4oz or so still on it growing. Easily would have been a lb+ if it had all reached maturity. At least what got taken early is still enjoyable smoke. At least until I smoke the ripe stuff and realize how good it all could have been.:joy::sunglasses::metal:t2:

I would like to apologize to @spankyjr1 for my statements on his journal. I did not mean to disrespect you or your journal in any way. Especially after you so graciously gifted me seeds. I erroneously thought I was originally posting on another member’s journal. After apologizing I foolishly posted the gif in response to the wife joke but see now how it appears. Sorry I upset you. I will be more mindful now.

@anon34311147 I just wanted to thank you for your understanding and response to the journal incident. You’re pretty good with words too. :sunglasses:

Now on to the weekly update. Bluster got it’s last feed on Monday and should have about a week or two to go. Vida has recovered from the pH drop and is getting some frost. I hope everyone is having a great harvest season. :sunglasses::metal:t2:

@Mr.Mr.Limelight sis and I have some questions about reusing organic soil. First can it be kept in the fabric bags or should it be moved to a tote or garbage can? Second if adding red wigglers should it be watered occasionally? Lastly can you add lime to the soil with the worms? Sis is trying to keep her Comsb soil for about a year before planting again. I’m just taking notes for the end of next season. Thanks as always for all your help bro! I hope all is going great your way. Harvest on! :sunglasses::metal:t2:

Do you think since you had a pH issue with this plant that it will ruin some of its potential?

I’m sure it affected it’s growth some by the time I caught it and then it recovered. I still think it will be great when it finishes just a little less of it. :joy::sunglasses:

If.your going to keep it in the same pot you’ll need a cover crop like clover or flowers
This will help use the leftover nutrients and help from drying out the soil and kill the living soil

Tilling is not necessary this way and when it’s time to use cover with cardboard 3-4days before using and the n from the cover crop will be available instantly in the soil

For the worms they will eat up the dead roots and poop black gold

Thank you sir! So the worms won’t need any additional food?:sunglasses:

I think some Black Strap molasses unsulphured would do you alot of justice along with some TPS Billions or Recharge if your growing organically. Worms eat dirt and sweet dirt with microbes would make better poop i would think.?

My last grow that i over fertilized didn’t recover good at all. The buds are real larfy and weak. I was not happy with it at all but its smokable. I just can’t give any of it away because it would make me look bad. Hehehe

Thanks! Makes sense. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::+1:t2:

That’s like saying the Red Cross looks bad for handing out water instead of beer and sodas. Don’t let others make you feel bad for being generous. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::sign_of_the_horns:t2:
