So I have some seedling autos and i currently have them on 20/4 light schedule. Is this ok or should i put them on 18/6 & change just before topping?
@Birdman580 20 / 4 is perfect for seedling, that is exactly what I do. Some people go 24 hours straight for the first week or two but I think 20/4 is perfect
They’re autos. Light schedule (within reason) doesn’t matter.
I agree that any light schedule would be sufficient. They’re not mature enough to flower on a short light schedule and cannabis will grow perfectly fine on 24 hours of light. So whatever is convenient will work. It’s my opinion that more light is better than less light in this stage as the plants will process more energy.
Good advice above. Whatever works for you is good for autos. Some are doing overnight lights on because heat can become an issue.
