Im currently setting up my first real grow im starting with 2 plants, so whats a good LED light to use for 2 plants that can help me get the best yield i can get?
I wanna use LED to save energy!!!
How large is the space? Having used and currently using LED’S, I would say that due to the somewhat deceptive marketing used for these units and their actual wattage versus stated I would go bigger than I would normally expect. So if you thought a 300 watt would be enough I would double it.
@tim245 one way to determine your lighting requirements is to determine the sq footage of your grow area and multiply by 40 watts (wattage per sq foot recommend to be 30-50 watts, led actual wattage not equivelant watts.)
Most light will give their wattage as 300, 450, 600 watts etc. Just check for the actual draw wattage when you make your calculations.
