Had light fall on plant few days ago. Broke main stem about half way down. Didn’t completely break so we taped it in hopes we could save it. Looks like we were unsuccessful. Question is should I cut dead off and where? If I cut main stem to low will it kill my plant? Thanks for any help!!!

Try to upload your pics again. Most plants can recover really well from snapped or broken branches. Aloe or raw honey will be your best friends as well as your tape of choice to hold it together till she mends her wounds

Certain areas will probably need cut off judging by your 2nd picture where the leaves are dried and curling in. Anything with green leaves not all dried up should make a nice recovery just might need to cut the top in the 2nd pic. For future reference id kill off any small branches not reaching the lights because it looks like your gonna end up with a bunch of popcorn nugs and if you trim them that energy that would go to 20 small buds will go to your tops giving you thicker and fuller nugs

Based off your last picture id just chop that one middle tall branch out and make sure your taped up good in any spots where it broke. The aloe and raw honey helps speed up the recovery process

Been there. Crushed 2 flat. Tape her up and just soldier on. If branch browns out just cut it off. I would wait and see. I took both crushed plants to harvest. Smaller yield but was good.

It was heartbreaking to walk in the closet and see the light fell. Almost cried!! This is our first grow and basically was doing this as a trial run to learn. Lol!! We learned all right. To secure the light!! Thank you for the response and pics.

Individual pulley clip is bettter than Vivosun “yoke” (joke) that comes off when not desired.

I 2nd that! But i like to use 4 ratcheting ropes/pulleys per light to be safe. I mean you get them in like 10 packs so mine as well
