Ok need advice have an autoflower that is 12 weeks from seed but showing no signs of being ready to harvest… my
question is how long can I continue growing it before it dies out anybody any experience with this12 weeks is not that long, I have had autos go as much as 115 days. Have read of others going longer. I once grew some Mazar auto, and the trichomes never changed color, I just finally pulled them at day 115 (was a nice energetic high, which indicated to me I pulled them early)…
A lot depends on the strain, Sativas traditionally take a couple weeks longer than an indica. And mother nature has the final say, I grew 4 white widow autos one grow, 1 of them finished in 85 days, the one next to it took 105 days, so even the same strains can very greatly…
Hopefully others also give some words of wisdom, as I am far from a pro (starting my 8th grow), just realize breeders give a “best case scenario” on their descriptions, and their posted harvest times are seldom what us growers experience…
Most breeders and seed banks advertise autoflowering strains by number of weeks of flowering, not the total amount of time from seed to harvest. It’s quite common for new growers to mistake that as total growing time.
that how they getcha hooked! i love it
Iam averaging around 16 weeks , but did just harvest one at 20 weeks
