Yes it’s wrong. Strips 1 and two from left are parallel connected and strips 3 and 4 are parallel connected.
If you have a positive going to a positive its WRONG. you see link I put above? Wire them like is in picture
Well I wasnet aware it’s wrong until I left over an hour ago and its turned really low will it be ok till tuesday? And how is digikey with replacing bad strips?..I would go fix it but its 50 miles away …is strip number 1 getting more power the strip 4? What could happen if gone in checked
I wouldn’t run them like that, but I don’t think anything will happen to them. Also not 100% sure those strips are bad, wire them properly and see
I ran 3 strips with extended leads to each strip and every strip lit up but the 1 doin the weird thing…like this 4 separate new lights wired em up like this and they worked so I subtracted one strip and ran the extended to 1 strip on the fixture to complete the circuit and and 3out of 4 lit up completely I think it’s just a bad strip but I will try tuesday when I get my tape Monday
No telling really. I’ve never had an issue with anything from digikey so I’m not sure. But its difficult to troubleshoot that way too because driver needs to see proper circuit in order to do what its suppose to

Sorry dude it’s trying to understand highschool Spanish quince Años aya I’ll get it eventually just got alotgoing on around me especially when breaker started tripping buddy started getting freaked out ooh we gotta get an electrician I hope I know one that smokes blah blah blah and I’m 50 miles away mind u and he wont dare touch any wires
Best advice I can give you is turn your brain off and wire them up like diagram shows. If it doesn’t work, take the strip you suspect to be bad out and replace it with another.
Also, if you’re wiring them up without heatsink attached turn driver down and do not leave them energized for any longer than necessary to check.

If you’re buying wire either way, get the 18awg. If you already have 20awg you can use it.

Thank you, wired up my power cord today with the water proof connector, ran pot wires. Now just need my boards and slates which are coming in tomorrow, cut my frame and drill holes for slates on framing. Decided to go with each borad turned 90° from last like you suggested and prob about a 28-30" frame

Boards have arrived built a 30×30 frame was wondering if you thought the spacing looked alright before i finalize holes for mounting and support beam. Obviously they will be centered more and slates wont be angled
