So my lights are hlg 600 v2 rspecs …bad ass no complaints except how compact they are wish they were a lil more speed out any way and I’m building a light or 4 in 4k 1120 sammy double rows f series 400 watts each
look what literally just arrived which I’m kind of aggravated because I though prime was free next day and I dont get the tape till freaking monday … BS that’s the part I need the most lol get atleast 1 done pre drilled and do the rest with the tape on tuesday when I go back AFTER the dam tape gets here lol there taking entirely to long throughbolting these lights
So you’d recommend the rspec for veg and flower.

I dont knowthey work and are similar in blues to the 3000k and 3500k which are full specs not quite as much blues as 4000k which still has red and u can flower with it … but yes you can veg with it they give a 6x7 veg foot print so it must be used for veg by many…I like em lil more money bit redsinfrareds and uv is availible in other options which are turning into the new hype to increas tric production (uv b) does this

My understanding is 301b and 301h are same led but 301h has a sulfur protection coating. If you don’t plan on doing sulfur burns that shouldn’t really matter.
The 260xl kit won’t fit in a 3x3. You would want something like 260xw kit.

R-spec is fine for seed to harvest growing.
If you get into neighborhood of 30"x30" fixture you should be in pretty good shape. If you want to get extra cute you can mount each board turned 90 degrees from board next to it and probably tighten up those measurements a little.

You know that I’m also a resident right?
$70 is going to get you a little boost in radiometric efficiency and a more plant efficient light spectrum. So it’s definitely better, but buying r-spec over other 288 boards isn’t going to double your yield potential or anything. I would say maybe you expect an increase of a couple of zips per 4x4 and some potential enhancements in quality. Lots of other variables in play though. Basically a decision of whether you’re ok with saving some money to grow with last years stuff. We know they will still grow.

what the actual Fu%k is going on here …18 diaode cluster working only 1 out if 18 not working …only after I switched around the positive and negative wagos cuz neg to neg all the way down and pos pos pos all the way down didnt light up at all
You have to wire them in series negative to positive to negative to positive to negative to positive 1 lead from the driver will go to positive then wire the boards from then on negative to positive to negative to positive to negative to positive to negative and on the last strip the wire goes back to the driver. You are jumping from strip to strip to strip you don’t put all the positives under one wa go and all the negatives under another wago . Hope you understand and can figure that out.

You have wires on all 4 connectors, not sure what you were trying to do but that’s definitely not correct

I hooked up 4 new untouched strips in same exact way and these 4 lit up fine but of course the ones I took time to mount are messed up what do I do about that…edit…I wired up 3 except the last one of the t that worked made extra long leads and ran em to each strip on the fixture and found the bad strip …atleast I found it but without further adue
I can’t see wiring on second set as good as picture you posted earlier, but there appears to be dead short on the pic from earlier. That could damage strip or put driver into protect mode.
I’m trying to figure out why you are purposely going out of your way to waste wire and make wiring more difficult?
I did exactly that at first but having the strip short out had me second guessing what I did …so I started over … the 4 new ones write out the bubble wrap lit right up so the way I did it was driver + - wago on each… you said either can be used as long as one positive and one negative I though at first if I energized one on one side I to go out from the other side…which I realized is not true…this time I went driver to pos neg first strip then owner to next strip like this what is this witing called is it wrong ?
Ya, one or the other. You shouldn’t have wires on both + or both - on the same strip.
I dont anymore look at the second picture of the 4 strips un illuminated they are wired that’s how I ended up getting em to work

Also @dbrn32 I kinda got arounsed when I popped a breaker for pulling too much one I put the 4th 600 back in the blower room and I’m so full now I gotta slow my roll till my scrogs finishroom is stupid full… but anyway I have a double 20 running both rooms i found out today…m. no good so I’m taking 2 light and running a big ass 100 foot 10aug extension cord i got from the other side of the building to put 2lights on it to spread the draw up
