Agreed mid October is typically at best and well honestly that’s why most northern outdoor guys trim top down provided trichomes at the top have transitioned. Simply denying yourself a better end product.

A few frosts aren’t going to cause any problem unless you already have a problem (at least with most strains per my experiences) bolstering trichome and terpene production when hit with light frosts means an improved product. You may see some damages but minimal typically and much like an apple that one or two frosts really makes the buds shine. The plant that came out the best last year here was hit with frost at least 4 times before I got to it and well that’s the jars everyone wanted to toke from. Good luck growmies !

So I have decided by looking at the start of flowering according to my pictures was 5-6 weeks ago so I am going to let them go 2 more regardless and not check trichomes until then. They are clearly still packing on weight and stigma round 3 is happening (piles of whites emerging). Both plants are GG4 but look very different pheno

I love the movie up in smoke, it’s my name for gaming and the activity is pretty fun too.

Not disregarding anyone’s advice and I appreciate you looking at them for me. I feel like I rushed too soon and didn’t get pictures of the trich’s deep in the buds. Harvesting this one too early would be tragic when she is getting so fat still.

Took a test bud off the first picture and used @Superkurt420 method, albeit without the Elsa and Anna plate. Taste meh…. As for the high it came on super quick and I would call her official in my book.

Thinking doing a similar thing this summer

Ha i like how you used my method but i shoudl have put the entire method down to dry i put the stove on the lowest setting lwt her warm up then put the pan on the stove let that warm up for like 10 mins then put the bud in the pan then i move the pan on and off the burner making sure i dont dry it too fast because you can accidently decarb the weed

I put stove on 150 and put it on one of those drying racks. Turned oven off and left fan on with door cracked just an inch or so then test for snap and repeat
