Canada just legalized recreational cannabis. I’ve heard it’s legal to grow. Before I sift through the whole provincial statutory maze. Anyone know if simply growing several plants indoor is legal for real?

Medical growing is different under Canadian law since it is a federal statue. There is a calculator involved. My prescription is 1 gram daily so I am allowed to grow 5 plants. If I was prescribed 2 g a day I could grow 10 plants. To qualify for medical you need to have a prescription from a doctor and fill out a government form from Health Canada. Hope this helps.
