With LED its about PAR not wattage. A good 600 watt could outshine a 1500.

I found it… But it only draws 340 watts, seems kinda low for being a 1500 watt led… If you want something good and cheap… There is a 900w MEIZHI on ebay for 189 shipped… That same light is over 249 on Amazon. That’s the cheapest light with good reviews

the lated led i have ordered is a meizhi 900w led that draws actual 418 watts, far more than the 1500w

What ever makes you happy bro if it works for your growing needs then that’s all that matters. @Careg was just giving his input don’t think he meant to offend anyone. If your light has ir at that price then it should work if not look into the viparspectra I have a 300 and 900 they work great.

Dude, if anybody makes fun of you or bitches at you for the light that you’re using, just show them THAT BUD! Because if you did grow that bud with what they call a “cheap-ass light” then that makes you pretty much a better grower than them because they couldn’t do it with their $1,500 light. Spread the love brother. Growers Love that is.

Hey guys, so I am thinking about getting my girls a Christmas gift…

I’m still a newbie but I was going to go with 2x 300 watt from Galaxy or Mars hydro. For just a bit over 100$ I can get 600 watts and I wanted to do two instead of a 600 that was I can customize more where the light is and move them around if need be.

Is there anything else anyone can recommend that might be a better choice for around the same price? I am willing to go a bit higher but unfortunately now is a bad time with the dinero. I’m only trying to get my plants going so I can get them out of my closet and start a new grow. (I will probably get some WW autos and more GL)

I like my 2 300 watt mars hydro. Both plugged in gives ya about 290 true watts.

that one draws 130 watts… I have the 900 watt version as my main light, and a vipatspectra 300 and a Mars 300 for side lighting… . I believe @Oldstoner has had success with MEIZHI leds…i haven’t harvested anything yet, I’m in the process of my first grow
