Led full spectrum grow lights

Enjoying site so much. Tons of knowledge, maybe someone could explain a point of confusion.
A lot of full spectrum led lights say 3000 or 3500k which i always thought was for flower stage and 5000,6700k for veg stage. How can they be full spectrum. I am looking at qb lights that many reccomend here or adv plat p600

I have pretty much fully converted to QB boards. The K rate is an indication of how much red or blue light dominate the full spectrum. The lower the K, the more red (2.7K to 3.5K), the higher the K, the more blue (4K and above)

sorry mate but another for you @dbrn32

Full spectrum means some representation from each of the color groups of the par region. Most white leds will do that.

3500k will be the happy middle ground. You can veg and flower with that spectrum. 3k and lower is best for just flowering, and 4K and higher is best for veg (afaik). I’ve pretty much stuck to “full spectrum” at this point.

i know, really chitty pic, and this is a bad example, these r ‘full spectrum’ HID bulbs,
u can see the spikes of reds and blues,
QB’s and a few other lights now carry a significant amount of yellows and greens,
yellow and green were thought to be useless indoors, now we see the difference.!

Thank you. Just catching up, in and out veterans hosp lately, havent been online. I really appreciate the quick responses here
