Leaves....WTH!?

I have a newbie…1 1/2 week old plant that has white fuzzy/fluffy stuff on the bottom leaves kinda reminds me of a caterpillar. Any idea what it is?

Any pics?

@Liljoe. Best I can do with pictures.

Hmm, very hard to tell in pics. How often do u water?

Every 4-5 days… and try not to overwater at this stage! This is the seed that didn’t come off on her own. I had to remove it.

Also r u using ph’ed water? Be better to get clear pics if u can

Using distilled water. Will try and get better pictures this evening.

Def get ur ph in order. The yellow on leaves may be a ph issue

Thanks will do

I was thinking the same thing! I will just pitch it in the trash when I get back home this evening. :slightly_frowning_face:

What’s your temps and humidity been like? Air circulation ?

If he is using distilled water with no additives then it will automatically adjust to whatever the ph of the soil is. There is no need to adjust distilled water because it is impossible. The ppm count is so minimal that any ph reading you would get would probably be wrong anyways.

I did not know that, interesting.

No problem. But once you do start mixing nutrients. Wait 30 minutes so the mixture can settle, then measure and adjust your ph.

Temp 70-78
Humidity 58%

Doesn’t sound like conditions that would encourage mold. What are you growing in?
