Leaves turned yellow

Hi everyone
I just joined two weeks ago as a first time grower of auto-flower. I posted a couple pictures of my plant at 3-4 weeks old. She’s beautiful however the next day I noticed two fan leafs are turning yellow and now two more fan leafs turned yellow. From the bottom. I took them off so it doesn’t harm the other leafs. If anyone can help me save her! She was doing so well. Happened overnight. I’m doing everything I should. Also it’s from a pot for pot.

She’s one month old

Pictures in natural white light will help us help you better.

Don’t worry about it if they are the lower leaves. It’s normal for them to discolor and fall off as the plant matures.

Thank you for your reply. The best I can do in white light.

She looks fine, though she is asking for more light.

I have them under 24/0

Hey @Dreaming , welcome to the forum.
Midwestguy is correct. Its not the length of the lighting period you need to address, but the intensity.
The overall look of the plant is showing that it wants more light. Looking like you have what we commonly call blurple lights. Many of us started with those. Most are under powered even tho they call them 1000watt lights they turn out to be far less. You can try lowering the light to help. You can surround the plant with reflective material to help. You could invest in better lighting if you can afford it.
I grew a few plants with the blurples before buying better lights as did many other growers here.
Its a common occurrence.

Thank you
I have them in sunlight and grow light. I can go and buy another one. This auto flower is from a pot for a pot grow kit. And tells you an auto flower can grow under any light source. I’m going crazy :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: bc I’m thinking  did I over water or under water? I read a lot of people do water run offs which I never did bc I thought maybe I’m o er watering. PH is right on humidity is right on. I also read she should be feed. Tiger bloom? It’s so confusing being a new grow. Thank you  to everyone who has reached out to help me. Truly appreciate it.

Cindi.

If you use Fox Farm you will need to use the trio and also include Big Bloom and Grow Big.

I would avoid the burple type lights. The best lighting for cannabis will be ones built with Samsung LM301 series diodes.

An important point to keep in mind is that cannabis prefers wet/dry cycles. Water to runoff and then let the soil dry out before watering again.

The best way to ensure proper feeding is to get a PPM meter and maintain PPM around 1,000.

@MidwestGuy
Should I do a water run off? She’s a month old and whenever I do water it never runs out the bottom. Sorry with all the questions I just want to be successful with my first grow. In a cloth pot. I do the finger test and it comes out clean.

And Technically its true, cannabis will grow under any light source…But it wont grow WELL under just any light.
Theres a whole culture of sellers who prey upon new growers by inflating claims of how great their lights are. Then they pay people to post fake reviews saying how great the light works, even posting photos of plants that look awesome. Its all smoke and mirrors.
Before you pull the trigger on a new light at least ask here if it will be good enough.
There are decent lights out there and there are great lights. What your budget will allow will dictate your next light. Good ones are not cheap, but there are options.

I was told to try LM301 series

Samsung lm301 diodes are the top right now. When I bought my lights they were out of my budget range so I have lights with Epistar Diodes. I do just fine. Would I like better light? Sure, we all do.
It would be good to start with what your ultimate goal is. Do you just want to grow one plant on occasion for personal use or do you want to grow a pound at a time and supply all your friends. You get the idea.

For personal use

This light is well thought of. For a single plant it would be fine.

Sweet. You will love the results.
The other light you have will work for sprouting new seeds and getting a new plant started as the one under your new light finishes. I start new seeds 2 or three weeks before I harvest and then rotate in the new ones.
