LOL Thats exactly how I got started too! Found a lone seed in one of 3 garbage bags FULL of small buds from a friend of a friend. He took the main colas and gave me everything else. Straight into dirt and turned out to be male
Maybe itās a right to passage. Everyone has to start somewhere. 
Happy Saturday grow family. Thought Iād share a little update. Like I said Iām not having fun getting started. I have one Apple Fritter photo and one Acapulco Gold auto. They both emerged from the soil on the 30 of August and the first of September. They are still tiny to me. I have more seeds coming and some seed starter soil coming. I am thinking maybe the soil I was using isnāt seed friendly and thatās why they were dying. Anyway, here are a couple pictures of my sad grow so far.

I didnāt tell what seeds Iām getting. I have Northern Lights auto and Afghan Kush auto on the way.
The little seedlings still look goodā¦ lots of vegetative stuff going onā¦ they just need to stretch more. Maybe a tad less light or move them farther away from the light? Iāve got to go get some more seedling soil today. I think Iām going to start a winter/tent grow 
Good morning grow family. I have a question, my scales won weigh the .25 grams. It will show the 2 grams but not the .25. I am using Jacks 321. Is there a teaspoon measurement I can use?
Iām trying to recall how I did it. I think 1 gram = 1/4 teaspoon of granular sugar. Grams being weight and tsp is volume so it is relevant what youāre measuring. Sugar is close mass to Jackās I believe.

Your scale doesnāt measure the hundreds, or is it that it wonāt measure that amount without added weight? Whenever Iām measuring something that small, I put a 50 g weight, so I get more accurate readings.

Good evening family. Just cruising around the forum and thought I would share a couple pictures. The auto is growing a good bit. The photo is very slow. Iām hoping it takes off soon. I have an Afghan Kush that germinated in paper towels. I have free a seed that is Space Candy. I put it straight in my seed starter. We will see what happens.

Just a quick note. The space candy seed that I put straight in the soil, no soaking, no wet paper towel and lo and behold I see a tiny bit of green trying to emerge. Iām so happy. Have a super weekend yāall. Pictures coming

Good Saturday morning, flitmeā¦. I am at the camp in Oklahoma, starting my groundskeeper duties for the hunting season. And finally, fall is starting to come in.
That sounds like fun. Itās not feeling like fall here. We are still in the 90ās. This is some strange weather for sure. Have a great time at the camp.
