Leaf Starting to Taco

I took my plants off T5s about a week ago. Details below of setup

Canna Coco 70/30

1 gallon pots with good drainage

1000 watt HID MH dimmed to 600watts 18/6 light cycle, air cooled.

Light height - started at 18" moved to 22"
.
PAR - 350 measured with PHOTONE App

DLI - 22

One fan blowing above canopy under light. I ajusted the angle to make sure it wasn’t blowing on plant constantly.

Tent 5x5

Feed Canna per gallon

AB - 2ml

Calimagic - 2ml

Rhizotonic - 10ml

Ph 5.8

EC 1.1

RH - light on 50, lights off 58

Temp - lights on 81F, lights off 72

PPM 800 on 700 scale

Water once a day at 1/3 gallon DTW with 20% runoff.

I have 2x6" oscillating fans in front and rear coners also blowing above canopy. I thought it might be wind issue so i turned them off. It has got worse over last 2 days. Never had this issue like this before. Always something please any ideas

They look good. Your PH is a little low. They will grow at 5.8 but not optimal. That should go in to the pot at 6.5. Do you have PH PHD?

I’m in coco so target PH is 5.6 to 6.0 and 6.5 is good for soil. I think after some heavy reading and looking at VPD chart it’s time to crank up the humidifier. Thought i could get away without it but not with the heat and light intensity of the HID. Thanks for trying to help tho appreciate any and all help and opions

In my experience, Taco :taco: leaves normally due to out of range heating and/or RH in the tent . I’ve also experienced taco :taco: leaves with to intense of lighting.

Veg 72°-75° 50% rh is what I shoot for in vegetation stage

Im right here with you man any idea on progress? Im thinking wind burn or light intensity for mine…bit im not sure ive also seen stuff saying possibly notrogen toxicity for my girls

Ya mine was the light intensity/heat. I got 1000w MH/HPS. Unless i dim it to 600 i gotta keep it at least 18" above canopy with a fan blowing across top of canopy but not blowing on plants. The fan constantly blowing help reduce it. Bad thing is in my experience once the serrations start on the edges if you don’t react right away they wont go away. Damage is done the leaf will surive but those taco effects will always stay. Wind burn looks a bit different from my experience
