Hello everybody. This is my first time trying indoors. Vivosun 4x8 with 2 circulation fans, exhaust fan and 2 VSFL4300 (430W) lights.
Started all 6 from clones in fox farm happy frog with just a little worm casting added, some more perlite and some vermiculite. 4 different strains ( 2 Sour Diesel, 2 green crack and 2 randoms). They are on week 6 since planting and seems to be getting big and growing well.
The all have gotten the same watering, nutrients, etc. For the first 3 weeks, only RO water was given. Last three weeks have been feeding cal/mag and FF grow big at recommended rates. Watering roughly twice a week and always let rootzone get down to around 20% wetness (which is almost dry) before watering.
For some reason, my 2 sour diesel plants have been tacoing and have yellow edges. Theyve been this way the whole time since i put them in pots.
I think its PH related as for some reason, when these two dry up a bit, the PH goes up to 8.0 in both pots. This only happens with these two. The other 4 stay in the mid 6’s. Ive flushed a few times (down to 200ppm runoff) with no change. I dont want to keep flushing as they yellowing seems to be a nutrient deficiency?
The tacoing i thought may have been light stress but ive raised the lights to 30" over canopy ans have had them at 50% which is around 250ppvd at canopy. These things should be able to handle 400-500 easily no?
Have a look and let me know what you think. Id really like to resolve this before flowering. Anyvguidance is greatly appreciated!

What are your temps? I don’t see anything other than needing some cal mag.

Temps stay between 70-77F.

Ive been feeding cal/mag every other feeding for the past 3 weeks. Should i bump up the mL or cal/mag every watering?

I feel like your high PH is possibly locking out some nutes. Definitely see mag deficiency, the blue hue leaves are asking for phosphorus and the yellow leaf edges are likely potassium deficiency, all which could come from the 8.0 ph, you will need to get your runoff ph at 6.5 in that soil, then they can uptake your nutes.

I’m leaning on lockout like growdoc said. I seen a video once where they took the whole container and submerged it in a container big enough if you have one into a ph of 6.2 until no more bubbles appeared then took it out and drained it by holding it on a 45 % angle till completely drained to get ph back to stable. That was definitely a flush. Not sure of the outcome but the grower is pretty well known. ???
Then follow up on a. Foliar feed. ?
But wait for more Opinions

In my experience, worm castings tend to elevate PH. You may want to top dress with oyster flour or dolomite lime.

This is more than probable a k deficiency due to lack of nutrients.
Often presents it self from low feedings of 1.2 ec or less… Then the yellow tips makes one think a nute burn and then they flush and cause more problems.
Should be feeding full strength like 800ppm or 1.6ec every watering for the next few watering. Runoff ppm can get up to like 1500ppm or 3.0 ec before a pure water then feed, feed, water.
If your feeding 1000ppm or 2.0 ec you might consider nute burn and back it down.
And stay away from calmag more so in soil. a manufactured base nutrient line will have all that is needed at full strength. You will cause many problems with k and mag adding more calcium it throws the ratios off. I’m sure there’s a ratio to kcalmag somewhere on the forum.mabey like 4-1-.5
When using a base nutrient at full strength there’s mabey 100 calcium which is minimum needed in late veg flower. When you use half strength your at 50 calcium which is minimum required for a young smaller plant so you can get away with it for awhile. If your using a calnit 2 grams is the minimum that I would use till late flower then 1.5 grams minimum for 75ppm calcium and reduced nitrogen.
