Thanks @bob31. I will definitely look into it.

I imagine there might be other products that will help, but that was what came to mind first. @AnneBonny

So, not really an update except that I think trimming away the mildew affected branches and leaves and spraying with the water and baking soda solution seems to have it under control. As long as we don’t have a bunch or rainy or humid weather I might be ok.

I do have a question for those who plant outside. This rain has been heavy at times causing my soil to bounce up on my plants and they are dirty. Outside of taking a towel to each leaf any recommendations on cleaning them off? @Willd @Majiktoker @Hogmaster @Countryboyjvd1971 and another outdoor growers.

This is one of the mildew affected blueberries after I clipped her. Better to lose some than all.

This is the other one that I didn’t have to clip so much of. Though there is still some white at the top of the middle stem I think it is just old damage but I am debating about just clipping it off to be safe.~AB

Maybe run water over the top it should remove the dirt

@Majiktoker That was my first thought but I was nervous soaking them after the previous mildew issue but as I am typing this I realize how stupid that is since we had torrential downpours this morning that did just that - duh! So I think that’s the simplest answer. Tomorrow is supposed to be hot and sunny so if I do it first thing in the morning they will have plenty of time to dry out. Thnx!

@AnneBonny I’m more like Charles Vane, look a lot like him too :sunglasses:

@hillbilly103 I moved this to my thread so we don’t take over @MindlessCorpse
Charles Vane was actually my favorite character in the whole show. The bad guy who was a good guy at heart. I was shocked when they killed him off. All this talk is making me want to go back and watch it again

@AnneBonny thanks just like your name sake getting it done without waiting for someone else to make a move. :+1:
I thought Charles was the closest character to a real pirate
Can’t wait for the Treasure Island sequel that will take its place

I’d go 18/6 next time it helps put them right in veg so they will grow and get bigger I’d also do LSTand topping they call for a fatter Bush and max yield with fatter buds the more you top the more colas you’ll get! I’m working on one now I’ll attach a picture of her to this comment she’s only almost 9 weeks she’s little but she’s gonna pay off I’m hoping lol I’m new also new to joining this forum it has helped me every step of the way! Super good/cool people here! so don’t hesitate to ask.

@hillbilly103 You’re right. I read some where that the actor that played him went on a special diet and worked out all the time to keep that time period lean pirate look. And dayam he was hot! I have been waiting to hear when Treasure Island is expected to be out, but nothing yet. Probably not until winter. I will have to settle for the final season of Game of Thrones in July to get me through. :crown:

@AnneBonny Wife and I are watching GoT on Demand (again) so we’re ready for season 7 on the 16th :crown:

@hillbilly103 Too funny - so am I. What a geek huh? I’m actually halfway through season 5 I think. I find I pick up little tidbits that I missed the first time around that somehow connect later on.

@AnneBonny we’ve watched all 6 at least 5 or 6 times. Every time a new season starts we start at 1 and watch them all again. Also Outlander we love that one too.
Calling Geek  squad :calling:

@hillbilly103 Yup, Outlander fan too. Looking forward to Season 3 in September.

So glad our weather got better right?

You may want to trim them up a bit to get a little more air in between the leaves to help with the mold issue
I just wipe it off by grand when I get dirt on them
And I think you should see about putting some sort of plastic or tarp that can be moved when not raining to help in the future with the mold issue

@Countryboyjvd1971 thanks. @bob31 suggested something similar. This weather has just been so crazy that we are getting pop up storms a showers and usually while I’m at work or in the middle of the night. Indoor or outdoor they each have their issues I suppose. I just don’t want to cover them and then not get enough sun. So far the mildew seems under control thankfully.

Sounds good I happy I put mine in green house this year cause the weather in Ny has been all over the place and the rain been a bit crazy so yeah I get you don’t want to block the sun maybe heavy 2 mil clear plastic so sun goes through it would be good for you ?
Keep me posted Anne

So, my co-worker told me today that she thinks my gorilla glue clone will be able to come home this weekend. Woo Hoo! I’m excited and nervous at the same time. Excited to see the difference between growing an auto and a photo, nervous cause I’m afraid I will kill it. They grow hydro so is there anything special I need to do or be prepared to do for the transplant to soil? My plan is to transplant it to a 5 gallon fabric pot. I will keep it in my sunroom for some filtered light for a bit as @Countryboyjvd1971 suggested with my other plants and then it will go outside. I am not putting this one in the ground though. I want to be able to bring it in if the weather continues to be crappy.

I was thinking though…should I find out how old the mother was when she was cloned so I know how to treat her? I have read that you care for a clone as if it is the same age as the mother right? So I will need to know for nutrients correct? Also, the soil I used before was organic but it was kind of iffy so I was going to order some Fox Farm from Amazon - would you recommend Ocean Forrest or Happy Frog? I read when grown outside gorilla glue is usually ready to harvest by October, but obviously that depends on when it sprouted. Hoping it will be ready prior to the cold settling in. If not I will be buying a light and a tent which is my ultimate goal anyway (just have to get hubby on board). Any other tips you want to pass a long will be appreciated.
