Lol. I think it messes up the metal rod. Or maybe the metal seeps into the soil? I truly don’t know why it’s bad, but it is ![]()
And yeah, no batteries, hubby. Lol

What I read says “it may damage the probe if left in for weeks and months”.
I water by weight, the probes are a back up - especially this time as I’m using coco for the first time and I’m not used to it yet.
After your plant has set in, you can pretty much water coco every day. Thats what I did with my girl in coco. I’ve switched completely from soil.
You need a maxisun pb2000
try a diff strain, maybe even a diff breeder
We all have been there, I had fems sit in veg for weeks till we bought a much bigger ,better lights and now everyone is growing and some in pre-flower reaching for the sky now
I felt the same way … They’ve all for been beautiful plants just tiny dancers lol. I just cut Shirley and got a little over 1/4 oz lol
I used the 3 gallon smart pots this time. I love them. Easy to manipulate. I’ll check in to the dots as well.
I have a humidifier in there. It is automatic so that keeps my humidity pretty controlled… Problem is …I think I didn’t set it where I needed it to be … Because I apparently still don’t know what I’m doing lol.
I tried and thought I was doing pretty good with my dli and ppfd but apparently not.
I love the buzz of the LSD, but like you…I think once I either use the other 16 or trade or give them away … I’ll probably attempt a couple photos or something cause even though this is all for me… Apparently I must be a bigger p0the∆t than I thought cause I still only have a 1/4 oz after growing for plants. LMAO.
Thanks as always girly…
I have the ocean forest and I use the green sunshine company’s Earth Dust. You have to put the “base” in your dirt and “cook” it for 2-4 weeks before planting. I have the seeds ready to germinate but I’m going to give the dirt another few days which will give me 3 weeks of “cooking”… So I reckon I’m going to try this again lol
wish me luck
And more importantly, thanks for all the great advice…I bookmarked it so I can come back to it!
This i think was a big part of my problem with my first two.
I tried to correct that with the next two but I still didn’t have a very good light the first 3 or 4 weeks of the second grow so I think that may have stunted them.
I’m gonna get this if it kills me!!!
LMAO
I had some drops in temp at night to maybe 64°F but not lower… And definitely no hotter than 85°F.
Humidity however, was staying more in the area of 50-70% and sometimes higher when the lights were off.
Maybe that is part of the problem? I hope because I can fix that. As always… Thank you for your help.
Checking them out right now…I like the idea of having more wait flow to the roots… So thank you…A-Gain lol
I’m close to Louisville, KY… And I’d love to discuss this further if we could.
I need all the help I can get… And because @Fiz said so lol

I have 3 ga. Smart pots… And so far… All my plants are lost in there…lol…I think I may go ahead and keep using them… But what size you suggest on these for the seedlings…I noticed some people complaining about them being much smaller than what the description says.
So I’m going to trust you lol… What you say is the best size of the nursery pots for my seedlings before going in to the 3 gallon pots?
Oh, I just get a small biodegradable nursery bag and slip that into a solo cup. Once roots start to protrude from the bottom of the bag, I slip the whole nursery bag and plant into a solo-cup sized hole in my final pot (I am finding I like autos better in 5 gallons than 1 or 3 gallons, but that’s entirely based on frequency of watering)

@duhneese are you using tap water to water your girls?
I’ve been mostly upset with the return and or quality of autos myself. They r nothing comparable to auto buds so far from growing them myself. I’m not a pro not even close but I know there is no way in hell I could mess up like 12 plus autos I’ve grown for everyone to not have hard ass buds like my photos give. Smokes good tasted good gets ya high but not a picture worthy. If at all really.
I’m going to toss my 2 cents worth here on what Graysin said - I tried the nursery bags this time on my plants in coco. I’m growing a good size GSCE auto in a three gallon pot and she is doing great - she’s 10 inches taller than the LSD I’m growing now. The three gallon pots do need more frequent watering - Shirley gulped down 1/2 gallon yesterday and returned less than 2 oz.
I am liking the coco with the Grow Dots, nice and easy and it sure is VERY easy to tell when the pot is light because coco weighs hardly anything on its own.
I’m sticking with the 3 gallon pots - at least when I’m growing multiple plants, because you can fit them into the tent better. If I did a single, or two, I like the 5 gallon because less frequent watering.
Good luck with the car situation!
