Large hard buds, rapidly yellowing leaves autos

Day 50 420 Fastbuds. I’ve got four plants growing about 50 days into flower. Blue Dream, Wedding Cheesecake and Gorilla Cookies.

Without exaggerating, these are perhaps the best buds I’ve ever grown. Even better than photos.
Buds are huge, and getting larger. The Blue Dream buds are rock hard. Amazon nose.
But my leaves are turned yellow at an alarming rate. This concerns me.

A friend looked at them and said what’s going on is, the autos are nearing the end of the cycle. The buds are still trying to grow, and drawing all the nutrients from the leaves to survive.

This sounds logical, but is he right?

Without a picture and knowing what and when you’re feeding there’s no way to comment…

I’ve grown a few Fast Buds plants and impressed with the bud density, yield and averages around 8-9 weeks finish time from on set of flower. Post a pic Growmie :love_you_gesture:

Your friend brought up a common observation that does occur more times than not at this stage. I agree with the others, pictures will help nail down the culprit behind your yellowing.

Dude I’m not experienced enough to know other than when my grow is done a lot of leaves turn yellow seems like overnight. But I’m responding because if the seeds came from ILGM you need to enter that bud in the Bud of the month contest. They are awesome. Congratulations on that grow wow.

@Beard-O
Any chance you have feed/run-off PH/PPM numbers?
Just asking for forum friends.
Thanks

You’re 7 weeks into flower with a genetic that finishes in about 8 weeks.
My guess is that baby is ready for harvest. You can probably stretch it a few more days.

But what you really need to do is get a scope and take a look at the trichomes on the buds, not any of the leaves.

That will answer your question.

Here are the trichomes, tell me what you think. To my eye, they still look clear

Me too. The wait will be well worth it. Youre almost there.

They are definitely clear… surprisingly. But just wait it out.
