I just fed it 3 days ago should I start flushing now or keep going to 8 weeks…
@nicholasesposito I would keep her under the lights at least 8 weeks. Do you have a jewelers loupe or another magnifier? I have a microscope that hooks up to my phone so I can look at the trichomes in flower to get a better guage on when to flush and harvest
I agree with @Ah-hee. Start flush at 8 weeks
She looks great.
Is the 6 weeks 3 days from the flip or from buttons forming which is usually about 1-2 weeks after the flip.
Are you using chemical nutrients or organic grow?
If chemical they say a flush is needed in order to remove all those chemicals to better the taste and smoke.
If it’s organic no need to flush.
As far as timing and pistol colors strains vary and the same strains can vary as well as to finishing times etc. the 8 weeks is just a number in general and that can vary up or down depending and various factors.
I look to see if the bud is pushing out more fresh pistols and or bulking the buds up and until that’s done it’s still usually not ready. If she’s only pooping a few new pistols here and there then she may be close.
Take a look at the Trichomes for a better idea of when they are ready.
Grow organic and a lot of the stuff you do with chemical grows goes away like flushing so it’s easier to harvest when ready without having to time the flush etc.
I don’t need to adjust PH or check PPM or run off anymore unless there’s an issue I just let the critters in the living soil do the heavy work.
Hope this helps and keep feeding your cannabinoid system
Im using dakine 420 nuts ive flushed every 2 weeks like it said,I switched it to flower the 18 of October there isn’t a white pistil on the buds like literally…I had and extended seedling and veg stage im currently at 16 weeks from first light. And 6 weeks 3 days since I switched to flower…all pistil are red I do have a jewelry checker the tri and they look more milky than clear…
U also use rain water 60% and distilled the other 40, thats due to the weather giving or not giving me enough…I’ve got 1000 kingled with exhaust fan a circulation fan in a 32x60x80 tent environment right now in flower it is 69 to 79 with anywhere from 38 to 50 % humidity is what my tent can fluctuate in a day…
During veg I kept it the same Temps but my humidity was 55 to 60…the plant looks great I just dont wanna screw this up ive devoted so much to this LA
6 weeks 3 days was from the flip
From what I have found those nutrients are salt based and you’ll want to flush out those things with water only prior to harvest.
Ripening isn’t always 8 weeks and varies so you’ll need to decide based on how those trichs look on the buds and not the sugar leaves as those will turn earlier than those on the bud structure. Now is the time to look at them daily and decide based on clear, cloudy and Amber percentages and what you are looking for in the end product.
Those 1-2 weeks during transition from veg to flower I usually don’t count towards the total “in flower” time.
You may have another week or two or more before ready. I am seeing new pistols in pic.
Here is a chart I reference for keeping my temps relating to RH and their stage of growth. Yours don’t seem to be too far out of range.
Hope this helps
Ok ok, no this helps out tremendously if it was just me id be flushing since my expertise is limited…that chart is awesome never seen that so thankyou for that one as well… ill keep her going she is my 1st indoor grow so im just a worry wart
