Ice cold water when u flush ur plants it will cause ur plant to go purple colour or some other colour
I believe alot start to dim down the light some at the last 2 weeks to avoid getting foxtails and all. Just like the sun works outside basically. U wanna start off low and raise it be fill power for flower time and stay full power til the last 2 weeks or so and slowly dim her down day by day or so til u hit a descent percentage all we r doing is trying to mimmick the sun inside the houseb

Love those lights man I also got myself a set and last grow i had it at 85% and my ladies tolerated it. Right now I got her at 80% and im about 970-1000 umols in the center. You have the master controller or no?
Ya I got the controller… The new Mars hydro 650 e series… I can dim it… it’s been at 100 percent since seed, everything’s been fine … just a few crispy leave tips…but the main colas closest to light seem fine
So what I’m feeling is that people dim down final two weeks? I’m not sure, they seem ok , but is there benefits of dimming?
I was referring to the growers choice lights but the new marshydro look cool too my buddy just bought some amd talks highly of them. I personally don’t turn the lighting down at all. I just got them acclimated to about 1000umols in week 6 of flower slowly upping it every week and thats where it’ll stay until I get ready to harvest then ill do some stem splitting, ice cubes around the trunk. And 2-3 days of dark
Cool, I guess I’ll keep the lights on full. Can you talk more about the final 3 days… Put ice around the trunks? And then no light for 3 days? I want to do this
They all activate your plants defense and they double up on trichomesm ice around the trunk last 2 weeks or week to stimulate winter conditions. I have a portable ac unit that gets my plants down to 63 every night for 12 hrs and about 70-72 during day hrs. Stem splitting I’ll mark a nice spot on the trunk close to the bottom. My bottom zip tie is usually right at the top of the dirt… and put 1 zip tie about am inch below and above the spot I’ll drill thru them just shove a Alan wrench or something in the hole make sure its a tight fit you don’t want it falling out and make sure your zip ties are tight as possible before drilling the point of this is to leave a hole the palnt can’t heal and will continue to build up trichomes. The last 2-3 days of dark will also boost trichome production

Yep. Whenever I start flushing ill ice around the trunk 1 or 2 times a day about 12 hrs apart if I do it 2x

Wow… looks great… my plants are like at 85 day and 70 night… So I think I’ll start to do the ice thing… Im just watering with sugar water right now, my last day on a amazing line of nutes was yesterday. So sugar water for this week and end of week 10 start of 11 I’ll start to ice it and harvest around week 12
When you ice, you still water right? Before the ice is placed?

Never heard of flushing with sugar water? Guess it wouldn’t be much different than adding molasses to your water to feed the microbes. Thanks man I appreciate it. Yeah water then put the ice down ypu want it to melt slowly if possible
Cool, well my light is hot… So the ice will probably melt a little faster… Anyways, ya I meant molasses when I said suger water… Maybe some honey… My pots are loaded with fungi and bacteria so it should be perfect
So ya molasses and water for a week… Then ice and watering for about another week , and then lights out and no watering for 3 days … I think I got a good understanding!
Lol yeah I heard that. When I put in 2 of my growers choice roi e720 I had to upgrade to an 8in ac infinity fan because my 6 inch wasn’t cutting it anymore
