2.5 weeks in how am i doing

So im 2.5 weeks or so in with the first batch of autos i planted and have the second batch in humidity domes growing now. But what i wanted to know is if these are on par with where they should be for autoflowers. I have one runt that i can not get to grow at all no matter what i do but the rest are pretty much the same and seem to be doing good. Also when can i start with fox farms nutes. In them and cinsider them officially in veg instewd of seedling.

If that is good quality soil, you should be ok with water only for another couple of weeks at least.

That would be now. :star_struck: and looking good too.

Yeah its fox farms happy frog and the new batch i have going is the fox farms ocean. But glad out of veg means i can turn the lights up some and drop the humidity a bit as now i can water the soil more.

Be very careful with your watering habits. Best method I have found is drench/drought. Water slowly until about 20% drips out the bottom. Check the runoff with TDS meter and start to feed when it drops below 1000 PPM.
Do not water again until the soil is very dry and the planter feels light. I prefer fabric planters to plastic because plastic will hold pockets of moisture and do not allow for oxygen to get to the roots very well.
Since you are already in buckets, I suggest you drill a shit-ton of holes in the bottom and sides at least half way up.

I already drilled an bunch and botton inch or so is drainage rocks. I have 5 gall fabric bags for the next batch wchich some are already in the prob i have with those is the soil doesnt really seem to sit well in it and it moves around so much im afraid the plants will get messed up

Also i dont have a tds yet which would you recommend i do have a moisture/ph tester tho. And i meant as for water more i mean it as i barely watered at all just sprayed the crap out of them with a mist bottle and had 2 humidifiers going keeping it at between 60 to 70 until they were in veg

Give the soil a good watering and it will stop moving so much.

Tds meters can be cheap but ph meters should not be. If you plan on growing your own as a solution to medicinal insecurity you will want to get a good one. I use an Apera Ph 60, cost me about 70 bucks or so. WORTH IT! I have not had to recalibrate it yet (over 12 mnths now), and as a bonus the pen gives you a  when the reading is stabilized. I wish I had gotten the apera model that does both TDS and PH, think its like 90 bucks or more.

You might take a look at airpots. Longevity of plastic with the function of a cloth pot. Here is mine in action now.

This is the case for all of them.

Worth mentioning the light as low hanging as it is may also be causing slow vertical growth (brighter lights = tighter node space = shorter bushy plants). Not necessarily a bad thing, just something to think about when you consider the height of the plants.

Heres updated pics from a few two days ago. The runt still hasnt grown at all but has grown a bunch of nodes underneath so my best guess is ill be lucky to get a quarter ounce of that one as i dont think its going to grow anymore but shes fiestu and refuses to die
As for the other ive slowly been trimming here and there not really sure what spots to do so kind of just winging it and hoping for the best. One im letting grow naturally the rest i have tied down. Of which 2 are topped. Just to see how each individual plant ends up yeild wise with the diff grow methods.

So im ordering a 4x4 tent, and a stronger light instead of the 5 cheap as hell 1000wleds ive been using. But im torn between two diff lights which do you think would be the best in the 4x4 ive attached pics and their ppfd charts. Im not sure which as one is stronger in the middle but weaker at the ends while the other is somewhat weaker at the middle but more consistent throughout. But feel free to throw a diff suggestion if you things theres a better one. Going to be growing reg fem seeds in the tent prolly 4 to 6 depending on how much room there is but most likely 4 and get them to massive veg before flipping as from what i heard autos dont yeild much and i want a massive yeild as im growing for the entire extended family that conists of iver 10 adults. So need a good yeild

Debating between these two diff tents as well

AC infinity tent >

I’d go for an AC Infinity tent, and a light that you can’t buy on Amazon. Mars hydro, spiderfarmer, etc are all going to be lying abo it their PAR/ppfd maps. Sorry to say but I don’t trust them at all.

Green-beams(dot)com - that’s my recommendation.

If you want top of the line, then HLG (horticulture lighting group) - their refurbs are top notch and REFURB is a coupon code good for 25% off. They also still come with a warranty

I wouldn’t consider many other lights beyond what you can find on those two sites.

Oh no shit? See i thougjt i saw quite a few post on here talking abiut how much they likes the mars hydro. But alright ill check out those sites. And take a look at ac infinty tent as well. Any particular reason why you prefer that one over the others?

Never give up on the Runts seen them end up the best

The Mars Hydro fc6500 would be a amazing light for a 4x4 you would have a solid ppfd across the entire tent as for HLG yes they have amazing products but for bang for buck when it fomes down to it alot of these other big led companies are using the same parts as HLG is using and arent charging such a premium and for tents id also go with AC infinity so that you could utilize there inline fan for exhaust and have it be integrated with then thent and well they make great tents either way lol
