Kona Gold female?

I picked up a dozen free Kona Gold seeds from a grow shop and germinated them. I’ve got four plants and a couple of clones. These are outdoors and only receive direct sunlight in the mid to late afternoon so they’re a bit spindly. Anyhow, two of four are showing apparent flowering to me. Can someone tell me if this female or male?

The plant is male. You will want to remove it if other plants are around.

Good old Hawaiian Kona Bud! My favorites are all from Hawaii. I like the Sativa. We used to call it Coma Bud when we were kids.

Damn it. The two best plants are doing this. Such is my luck.

Males are typically more vigorous growers than females.

Its said that males will grow quicker than females. Give them time, they will catch up.
Thank you for posting this… i need to see what this looks like exactly…

The two smaller plants are having a rough go of it. The larger two are males.

Hopefully they didnt get pollinated. Did you notice any white powder anywhere near them or on the males?

No, but it has rained like 40 days and nights the last couple of days. I guess I’ll just cut them down and pull their clones too.

Bummer, so they’re not making it?

They’re only plants in the long run… now you can start new ones with a fresh horizon on the way. It should be a relief that you put them out of their misery. Start new ones and now you can avoid making the same mistakes as last time. I have killed many plants in my days… its normal.
