Knuckle Split in half

Hey guys I understand I can put honey on the wound to heal it but hypothetically could I leave it split and it potentially heal itself split with the honey on it so I can get it opened up to light it’s so small and bushy

Well not knowing anything other than the split makes it hard to know what advice to give you.

How old is the plant? Is it an auto or photoperiod?

And yes honey will help heal and protect the split. I would suggest reinforcing the split with electrical tape or similar to prevent it from splitting further though.

I’d wrap some tape around it so it can’t split anymore. I dont ever put anything on mine and they heal just fine, i chop plants in half and root the top and branches and the wounds heal just fine. But it could split more as it grows :man_shrugging:

I know nothing other than the split as well. It’s a unknown strain I picked from a bud of weed from the dispensary and it’s about 2 months maybe idk I didn’t really keep track but now my white widow I got a white board for this little one is a trial and error I have no clue if it’s even a female or not

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure I was good. I got sick of it being a bush and I been trying to push it little by little over time and all it did was split the stem so ya I taped it real good and spiked it down no more bush hahah

I wouldn’t worry about that little split she’ll heal herself.

Youre good growmie! When you harvest take a look at that split, i bet youll have a nice sized knuckle. Might stress her for a min, but she’ll kick butt.
