Kind soil how much soil on top of kind soil

So will start a new auto with kind soil, have used a few times… end product good , but plants very small , almost dwaf… So will grow in 4 gal fabric pots … kind soil says use 3 lb of ks as base and I will top with ff organic… So any ideas on how much ff should go on top of kind? Tx

fill the pot with topsoil after you put the 3lb of kind soil on bottom.
