Hey everyone, I am trying an organic grow using Kind soil. I am reading that over watering will result in nute burn. Since I have always watered to run off I am looking for advice on how much to water at a time.
IGLM White Widow in 5 Gal cloth pot; 5 lbs Kind hot soil at bottom of pot and Coco Loco filling out the pot
Any thoughts?

Look up I believe @SilentHippie kind soil grow. He did a couple plants last year with kind soil

How old are your plants?
I generally give them 2 quarts early on. I usually go 3 to 4 days between waterings and gradually increase the amount as the plants get bigger. My plants topped out at about 1 gallon to 1.25 gallon per watering. The way I gauge the amount is give them a quart at a time and let them sit a few minutes. If no runoff, add another quart. If you start getting runoff, stop. This will give you a pretty good idea of how much to give them the next time.

Thanks, I am at seedling stage so I am still using a spray bottle. The only water I found in my area that doesn’t need PH adjustment is distilled but the Kind site said that was ok.

I use the Earth juice ph adjusters. They are in crystal form so the tiniest amount will do. It’s kind of a PITA but it is what’s recommended. I started using distilled water but that adds up quicker than you think. I use regular tap nowadays. I just gas it off for a couple days before using it. Works fine.

It’s not advisable to feed your plants until they have 5 to 6 true sets of leaves, and water doesn’t cause nutrient burn to much nutrients causes nutrient burn just to clearify that point.

Looks good @Paulcrf I grow in coco and love the results but I think ima try that kind soil next indoor grow
Thanks this grow has been very simple once a correct PH water source is found its off to the races…
I’m scrogging my next one as I tried to grow 2 this time but only one popped-seeds stored incorrectly-
Growing 2 plants I like the mainline way but only 1 plant a scrog is my preference

I love the scrog idea. The way I train my plant I get about the same results but I’ve grown with both LEDs and cmh and anything over 8-10" buds, everything is fluffy under that. So mainline just seems like you would have 8 beautiful buds up top then fluff

Sir,iam also using kind soil on autoflowers. Do you have any experience with autos.iam a newbie newbie two aborted attempts at trying to grow.good setup of equipment but lost on watering. Forgive me if not formatted correctly.thanks you jim
