Got confirmation yesterday my seeds are on their way. Will be working on my grow area this weekend. I have a nice spot in my basement that I think will be perfect. 8’ ceiling, 7’ wide by however long I choose to make it. Already wired for power. I’ve ordered a VIPARSPECTRA Reflector-Series 300W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum fixture and humidity monitor. I bought a pH level reader, peat pots of various size, and organic soil at my local nursery yesterday. I checked the temperature in the space last night with a Thermapen (I cook a lot of BBQ) and it read 73 degrees on the button.
My wife suffers from massive migraines on a monthly basis and we’re tired of doctors telling her to take OTC meds. Although I live near a big city, I can’t risk trying to buy medicine on the streets as there’s no telling where it came from or if the person is a cop.
I’m going to start small with maybe a 4-plant grow and see what happens. I’ve been reading the forums for about a week and am amazed at the knowledge that is displayed for free in this community. I’ll be posting more as I go through the process and I will most definitely be looking for help along the way!
