And after the calibration both points are correct upon rechecking? This is what’s boggling my mind.
Mine too. I’ll check again before I water next
I’m asking you. Im trying to understand your method for calibrating the pH meters. Something is off.
Both calibrated without problem. The Milwaukee brand is a push button internal calibration, the other is EC-3587 with a screw adjustment
General hydroponics 4.01 & 7.0 solutions
Couldn’t find this one online, but a screw adjustment doesn’t sound right. Is it a knob or do you actually have to use a screwdriver? I’d like to read the manual.
Last page is cutoff. Gotta love Chinese translations being off.
Recalibrated both meters, Milwaukee 6.8 other 8.01
So I did a flush this morning. Since I don’t feel like i have a reliable meter, used litmus paper. Flush water 7, ro started at 4, after last gallon paper read 6. Sucked out all the water and turned exhaust fan on high hoping to lower rh. All in all my plants don’t look like they are suffering from total incompetence. I’ve been so bummed out after last couple of grow disasters and stressed about the ph, I’m gonna let the plants talk for a few days. I’ll post some pics then.
Back to the main thread subject. I love this new light!
Plants are 13 weeks from seed, with 6 weeks veg and continuous ph problems. Hoping 2-3 weeks… DONE. And I do have silver hair
WOW. I’m playing with the ppm meter outside. Tomatoes grown in fox farm soil with replant kit from “earth box”. Hose ph 7.4 and 120ppm. R/o 6.68 and ppm 450. Not bad. I filled a couple of 5gal cloth bags with bagged, fertilized soil ie…stay green. Ph was good, ppm 2.66x1000. Going to watch to see how long it takes for ppm to lower with weekly water saturation and high pressure here with 95F temps. Some reading this are saying Why? Gonna chalk it up experimentation
