This blue cheese auto plant is only at about 95 days total, but it looks just about done to me. Slight hints of amber here and there. I cut it off from water today. Should i give it a day or two to dry up before i officially break out the hatchet.
I was pulling leaves and had to meet the wife. Just the smell on my fingers alone you would have thought i had an ounce in my pocket.
Looking good not far away from hanging some buds
I’d say anytime. I don’t do anything special with water or lights a couple days ahead of harvest. Don’t think it makes a difference.
Looks amazing going to be a super harvest.
I have to agree with yall. Looks like i need to sharpen up my shears for after work today.
Going back through my pics. Here she is the day i put her in its final 2.5 galllon air pot. First time using one of these, and it did great for a small pot. This photo was taken march 8th.
Looks and smells wonderful in the drying tent this morning.
Myy moisture meter says the flower is at 21.5 % this morning. I am determined not to screw this cure up.
Congrats on a great harvest Grow Bro
I agree 100%
Ideally you want to dry your harvest as slowly as possible…cutting them off from water before chop doesn’t seem to make sense since you’re dehydrating them before drying…inevitably speeding up your dry time. This might make sense in very high humidity locales.
Some research suggests water stress near the end of harvest can cause a slight increase in resin production, but I’ve not observed this in any way in my growing experience.
To be perfectly honest most of what I’ve been told are “tips and tricks” over the years turn out to be total B.S.
My best harvests/results have come from healthy plants, fed regularly up until the last couple weeks before harvest when i switch to just ph’d water (no heavy flush). Noting I’ve tried like “leaving them in the dark” a few days before harvest has ever netted any positive results…
Nice looking flowers!
This last runoff from this plant was 2 days prior to chop was 500 ppm and 6.48 ph. It definitely could have lived a few more days on what was in the soil still. The root system was actually quite small. But no the less it was a fun plant to grow. Im looking forward to a little more lst on the next blue cheese i grow.
My meter was showing nothing higher then 10% on the larger buds. So i decided to trim it down and put it in my cardboard box for the night. Its was still soft enough only the tips of some of the leaves were brittle. So it may need more trimming before i bag it.
I want to weigh it out before it goes in the groove bag, and see what she did. Definitely 2 ounces plus.
Did the official taste test after work today. for shizzle my nizzles
