nice idea for your drip tray…plants look healthy
thank u!!! got 5 for $1 thought why not, lol, easy to bend and shape however i want to keep the runoff at the base of the fabric pot:blush:
They look great. The one thing you might consider is a riser for your pots so that they don’t sit in standing runoff water.
Good idea. Not sure how nutrient salts will react with aluminum. Might cause some weird reaction.
Plants look good nice work
looking good

Ok any specific risers u guys use or any specific DONTS when selecting a DIY pot riser….
haven’t fed any nutrients yet… although approaching bloom/flower soon so i will feed them something !!
I don’t use risers, but I use plastic saucers from the garden section to catch the run off and then I just remove it. My comment was only a question of wondering if some of the plant food might react with the aluminum pans you have. Aluminum can be reactive to certain things. Might be totally fine tho I just dont know. I did find this on a garden website…
“Aluminum saucers will corrode as they contact water and release harmful toxins that the roots might absorb. As it deteriorates, it will form holes on the bottom and cause the water to leak and spill on surfaces.”
They did not quote any sources though.
I used stainless steel cooling wire racks for baking when I used risers.
I use medium sized rocks under pot 5-8 of em usually does it, and or, bamboo sticks across the drip pan.
i like that bamboo stick idea:fire:
i was planning on switching to normal drip pans once i made my next grow purchase… i got myself on a budget timeline so i don’t go crazy… leave it up to me i’d have 3 tents and a lot more going on:rofl:
but i’m practicing self control at the moment
Ahhh another question i’m about to finally put a clip fan in this weekend…. should i do it above the canopy or around the soil level how high or low do u guys put ur fans???
I use a tower fan in my 3x3 covers both under canopy and over. I have a cple mini desk fans I put on ratchet straps point at canopy from above in my 2x2
so how many plants do you normally put in your 3x3 on average per grow!?
and what is your range of yield….
i know plenty of factors to determine yield and space but just a approximation of a range is good enough
Its actually fairly consistant, 3-4 Autos 1/2 lb or more flower. +/- an oz.
ahh ok so you pretty much have your grow techniques dialed in for the most part…. so u are looking at roughly 1/2 pound every what 5
months including harvest & dry
Yeah round abouts. Its been a bit more each grow.
Yeah I spose, I feel like I still have alot to learn. Im happy with my progress and I dont miss the dispensary in the least.
I grow only autoflowers at this point, so its harvest every 90 days or so. Had a couple attempts where I was being overly restrictive with light, didnt get much outta them. It was sad. This last was my largest harvest so far.
damn now i want two more tents a veg tent & an autoflower tent if i can harvest every 90 days and stagger my photos properly i could be harvesting every 45 days if i do it right!!! DECISIONS DECISIONS
Doin that you will definatly want to keep good records. I use an ap called Jane that works very well for this. Its free to a point i think it will only keep track of a few plants unless you pay. Ive managed to saty in the free. Its pretty cool app
