Browning on tip of a couple leaves. Just transplanted from 1 to 3 gallon bag five days ago. FFOF soil. I have not given it any nutes yet. Just watered tonight, ppm runoff level of 2200. Also found a small hole in one of the leaves, looked around for bugs on and underneath. Didnt see anything, i do not have a magnifying glass or jeweler loupe but am ordering one. Any help would be appreciated!
Nice looking plant , I don’t see anything to be concerned about. Keep up the good work.
Thank you!!
The Browning tip that’s very minimal nute burn from the soil .
Yes I agree it looks like leave touched soil while it was wet, no biggie she will be ok
She looks good overall
Happy growing
Thank you!
Looks good! Always a good thing when you think there’s an issue, and then find out that it’s pretty normal.
Agree with the other cultivators, looking great and nothing to worry about. I would suggest raising your pots a little more above the saucers. I read you watered to run off and you don’t want that beautiful jewel wicking those expelled salts and minerals back into the medium and roots, it’ll lock out nutrient uptake and give you high TDS readings
For sure! This is my first successful grow so far, im sure there are many over reactions to come.
I have given that some thought. I have seen some small stands that allow it to drain, but they were kind of expensive so i am looking for a cheaper alternative.
Amazon has some saucers with wheels and a removable drip tray that are inexpensive
This is what I used, they were cheap, like 20 bucks on Amazon. They work fantastic, especially nice for watering, as I just slowly water and spin.
I took the drip tray out óf mine, it’s a pain when it fills up to dump it out without spilling it. But there’s all manner of things that you can use for that, I went with a foil pan.
Looks good. Many would be glad to have yours.
How are your girls coming along @VirginiaGrowBoy ?
Meh, not so great. The au naurale will do well but I stunted the hell out of the LST & Topped one and that one will be a dumpster fire.
Good thing this was an experiment. Lesson learned: Don’t top an auto when your grow temperature is below 65F the whole time. The 79F I have now with the heat cannot correct the poor veg period I created from the low temperatures.
Here’s a photo from a few days ago.
Hey, thanks for asking!
