Journal 6: Second Setup

I purchased a second tent so I can start doing perpetual grows. Cloning and breeding are other things that I want to also try. Cloning first and once I become successful with that I’ll give breeding a try.

Setup:
3x3
HLG Diablo 200
AC Infinity T6
Coco
Jacks 321
Armour Si
Autopot system

Strains:
Durban Thai x Cindy 99 Sent by @Not2SureYet
AK-47 sent by Not2sureyet
Grand Daddy Purple sent by Not2sureyet
Northern Lights sent by @Nicky
Purple Hindu sent by Nicky

The first 3 were dropped on March 10th and the Northern Lights was dropped on March March 14th. The Purple Hindu is in the solo cup and was dropped yesterday.

Here’s a photo I took today. DTxC99 top left. GDP top right. AK-47 bottom left. NL bottom right. They’re all in 1gal nursery pots until the Autopot system arrives, then they will be transplanted to 5gal fabric pots

Here’s what I’m growing in the other tent

In 1981 I mastered cloning an AFGAN PLANT.
Grew for 3 years including the 1500-mile move.
Miles, FAMILY, FIRE and summer cost 12 of 13 BONZI CLONES
Winter and life took the rest.
Life has evolved and so has the industry.
Tomorrow I will begin the RUBIK re-arrange to find space for my second tent.
Then I get both 12x12 (NO PEEKING) and soul saving 24x7 (PEEK PLENTY) tents
My ILGM SSHF arrived and are seedling. Have ten seed stored.
Considering next seed to grow.

As a grower and a producer, BREEDING will kill your plant production.
Faster to buy good seed, GROW IT and CLONE IT.
All production stops after fertilization, relatively speaking.
Ask my wife,
good luck & willing to share techniques

Thank you for the information my friend. I’ll make sure to reach out when I start that process. Appreciate it!

Gave cloning a try with just one cut from one of the Cherry Ice Cream plants.

Took a cut and dipped it in water. Then cut the lower nodes and made a 45 degree cut and scraped the end. The picture below was before I scraped it. After that I dipped it in Aloe then the rooting powder then straight into coco. Im putting the clear cup inside the styrofoam cup to block light and the coco is buffered with jacks 321 and Armour Si. This is just a test until I get a cloner. Its now sitting under the Diablo 200.

I also topped the DTxC99 last night

Cloning machine? which brand? WHY?

Buying a cloning machine this week.

Not sure what you’re asking about here

Although difficult cloning can be done without a machine.
Obviously, any hardware that improves success is valuable.
I am new to growing this century and appreciate all inputs.
Xmas may come early
Thanks for the picture.

You can definitely clone without a cloning machine. You’re welcome

Let us know if you have any other questions and happy growing

Hey @dbrn32 I was going to add a second HLG diablo 200 to my 3x3 but theyre sold out and I need to flip very soon. Which other HLG do you think would work nicely with my diablo 200 in the 3x3 for flowering?
